1 No.HCA-II/5/2014 HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA, BENGALURU, DATED : 3 rd SEPTEMBER, TENDER NOTIFICATION It is hereby notified for information of the general public that sealed tenders will be received by the undersigned for purchase of 05 Nos. of Heavy Duty / Industrial type water purifiers with R.O system having flow rate of 120 Ltrs. Per Hour. The interested firms may submit their sealed tenders "ON OR BEFORE 13 th OCTOBER, 2015 AT 5.00 P.M." furnishing their rates for supply of said water purifiers with R.O system with the specifications stated hereunder for consideration. 1. 3 D.PROCESS Pressure sand Filter (PSF) Water first Filtered by Pressure Filter unit for remove of suspended matters and turbidity. Activated Carbon Filter to remove colour, Odor and Chlorine from water. To remove Oil & Grease from the raw water. Micron Filtration (02 Nos.). There are pressure Vessels Fitted internally with pleated cartridge elements of 5 micron & 20 micron rating, which removes micron sizes particles. Osmosis Pressure System (High Pressure Pump) A high pressure pump is provided for supplying the feed water to R.O system at high pressure of 12-14kg./Cm.sq. Desalination System by RO Membrane Element a Reverse Osmos is System rejects 90-95% of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). UV System to deactivate bacteria of final water, Auto Flushing System (With solenoid valve & timer) This system auto flushes the RO system automatically for preset time. 2.PRICES : Tenderers shall quote their price for supply of aforesaid water purifiers with R.O system as per the specifications stated above, inclusive of all taxes. 3. WORK EXECUTION PERIOD: The contract has to be executed within two weeks from the date of placing of the order. 4. WARRANTY : Comprehensive warranty shall be valid for a minimum period of two years. If additional period of warranty is provided, that will be an added advantage.

4 5. AGREEMENT : An agreement has to be executed in this behalf in the form approved by the High Court of Karnataka. 6. EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) : An E.M.D. of `5,000/- shall accompany the tender in the form of Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru. The tender without E.M.D would be rejected out right. `100/- has to be paid towards Tender Document charges in HCA I Branch of this Office. 7. ATTENDING NEGOTIATION ETC. : Cost of preparation of offers, attending the tender opening and appearing for negotiation / clarification / demonstration shall be borne by the tenderer. 8. INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING PREPARATION OF TENDER: In case, terms and conditions applicable to this tender notification are not acceptable to any tenderer, he should clearly specify the deviation in his / its tender. The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject them. The purchaser shall not be bound to give reasons for his refusal to consider the tender with such deviations. The tender is liable to be ignored if complete information as called for in this tender notification is not given therein.

5 9. SIGNING OF TENDER: The tenderer shall indicate his / its status (company / firm / proprietary concern). Persons signing the tender or other document in connection with the contract may specify whether he signs as: A sole Proprietor or constituted attorney, in the case of sole proprietary concern. A partner of the firm in the case of partnership, in which case the partner must have authority to make offers and settles claims and disputes concerning the business of the partnership either by virtue of the Partnership Deed or a power of attorney. Constituted Attorney in the case of a company. (NOTE: The authority of the person signing the tender if called for, shall be produced) 10. DELIVERY OF TENDER: The tender should be sealed and addressed to THE REGISTRAR GENERAL, HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA, BENGALURU , superscribed as TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF HEAVY DUTY / INDUSTRIAL TYPE WATER PURIFIERS WITH R.O SYSTEM. The cover should also indicate clearly the name and address of the tenderer. The tender should be sent by Registered post A.D. or personally through messenger. If the tender is sent through messenger, the same has to be handed over to the person authorized by the Officer named above to receive the tender on his behalf at the Tappal Branch of this office and acknowledgment be obtained thereof. It is the responsibility of the tenderer to see that his tender offer is delivered at the above address by the specified date and time. All further communications are to be addressed to the Officer named above and by title only. A Tender without the aforesaid Superscription would be rejected outright.

LATEST HOUR FOR RECEIPT OF TENDER: The tender shall reach the Office of THE REGISTRAR GENERAL, HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA, BENGALURU , not later than 5.00 P.M. on 13 th October, OPENING OF TENDERS: The tenders will be opened on 14 th October, 2015 at noon, before Registrar (Administration). 13. RIGHT OF ACCEPTANCE: The High Court does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender or any tender and reserves to itself the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender or portion of the quantity offered and the tenderer shall supply the same at the rate quoted. The entire tender process may be cancelled without assigning any reasons. 14. RESULTS OF TENDER: Acceptance of tender by the High Court will be communicated by letter or any other decided mode. 15. The EMD will be refunded to those persons/firms whose tenders are not accepted. 17. The purchase shall be on credit basis only.

Payment to Successful Tenderer: The payment terms shall be as follows: a) Payment shall be made in full only after supply, installation and after obtaining report from the concerned Officer(s) with regard to satisfactory working condition of the water purifiers with R.O System supplied. b) High Court is entitled to make recoveries such as penalties, excess payment and applicable taxes from tenderer s bill, if found necessary.
