14 Conclusions and lessons learnt - Areas of cooperation have to take into account the various contexts (priority issues, legislative environment, available resources) and define individual action plans. - In each partnership different focal topics come up. - Municipal partnerships allow for individual designs. - Frameworks allowing a reliable long-term collaboration are essential. - Municipal partnerships can be very beneficial for access to wider city networks. - Municipal cooperations can also strengthen the collaboration with other actors in the city. - Municpal partnerships contribute to global partnerships and SDG 17.
