1 Decision 19/CP.18 Common tulr formt for UNFCCC iennil reporting guidelines for developed country Prties The Conference of the Prties, Reclling the relevnt provisions of the Convention, in prticulr Articles 4, 5, 7, 10 nd 12, nd decisions 9/CP.2, 11/CP.4, 4/CP.5, 1/CP.16 nd 9/CP.16 on ntionl communictions from Prties included in Annex I to the Convention, Also reclling tht y decision 2/CP.17 it decided tht developed country Prties shll use the UNFCCC iennil reporting guidelines for developed country Prties 1 for the preprtion of their first iennil reports, tking into ccount their ntionl circumstnces, nd shll sumit their first iennil reports to the secretrit y 1 Jnury 2014, Further reclling tht y decision 2/CP.17 it requested the Susidiry Body for Scientific nd Technologicl Advice to develop, tking into ccount existing interntionl methodologies, nd sed on experiences gined in prepring the first iennil reports, methodologies for reporting finncil informtion, with view to recommending decision on this mtter to the Conference of the Prties t its twentieth session, Reclling tht the Susidiry Body for Scientific nd Technologicl Advice, t its thirty-sixth session, 2 greed tht the common tulr formt will include tles for informtion specified in prgrphs 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 22 nd 23 of the reporting guidelines nd it my lso include tles for informtion specified in prgrphs, inter li, 13, 19 nd 24 of the reporting guidelines, 1. Adopts the common tulr formt for the UNFCCC iennil reporting guidelines for developed country Prties (hereinfter referred to s the reporting guidelines), s contined in the nnex to this decision, noting tht developed country Prties, in ccordnce with decision 2/CP.17, prgrph 13, shll use the reporting guidelines for the preprtion of their iennil reports nd will provide informtion on ll the elements of the guidelines in these reports; 2. Requests the secretrit to develop test version of n electronic reporting ppliction for the common tulr formt, for developed country Prties, y My 2013 nd to finlize the development y July 2013; 3. Also requests the secretrit to revise the electronic reporting ppliction for common tulr formt, in ccordnce with relevnt decisions of the Conference of the Prties nd, where pplicle, with decisions of the Conference of the Prties serving s the meeting of the Prties to the Kyoto Protocol; 4. Decides tht developed country Prties shll use the electronic reporting ppliction tking into ccount their ntionl circumstnces when prepring nd sumitting their iennil reports in ccordnce with decision 2/CP.17; 5.
