The Borrower s Lw of Tendering nd Bidding of the People s Republic of Chin promulgted by Order No. 21 of the President of the People s Republic of Chin on August 30, 1999, re subject to the following clrifictions required for complince with the Guidelines: (i) (ii) (iii) All invittions to prequlify or to bid shll be dvertised in the ntionl press, or officil gzette, or free nd open ccess website in the Borrower s country. Such dvertisement shll be mde in sufficient time for prospective bidders to obtin prequlifiction or bidding documents nd prepre nd submit their responses. In ny event, minimum preprtion period of thirty (30) dys shll be given. The preprtion period shll count () from the dte of dvertisement, or (b) when the documents re vilble for issue, whichever dte is lter. The dvertisement nd the prequlifiction nd bidding documents shll specify the dedline for such submission. Qulifiction requirements of bidders nd the method of evluting the qulifiction of ech bidder shll be specified in detil in the bidding documents, nd in the prequlifiction documents if the bidding is preceded by prequlifiction process. If bidding is preceded by prequlifiction process, ll bidders tht meet the qulifiction criteri set out in the prequlifiction document shll be llowed to bid nd there shll be no limit on the number of prequlified bidders.
