3 Objectives Establish a world class distributed European CCS Research Laboratory Infrastructure Integrate; Upgrade; Construct Full chain Power and industrial processes 2 nd and 3 rd generation techniques Open access for visiting researchers Become a key instrument the Commission can utilise and support to meet the objectives of the European SET Plan and to interact with relevant bodies such as European Energy Research Alliance (EERA), the ZEP-TP, Lighthouse projects, EII and others. Facilitate projects in the European Commission s Framework programmes, future European industrial initiatives, and education of specialists for the new CCS industry. 3
