13 Water Usage at the Proposed KGHM Ajax Mine Mine is stated to use 1700 cubic meters per hour (20 L pers-1 h-1, 480 L pers-1 day-1) This 15 million cubic meters a year Natural precipitation of 200 mm a year on 25 km2 is 5 million m3 a year Water input up from 5 to 20 million m3 y-1 Significant portion of this additional water will evaporate into the air High humidities and aerosol particles produce haze and fog
