Developed energy flux algorithm to estimate soil and water temperature. 2. Developed snow-melting and soil freezing-thawing algorithm for a distributed catchment model. 3. Measured time series data of soil temperature, soil water content, and meteorology for three years. 4. Simulated hydrology, soil and water temperature, sediment transport, and CNP (carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous) transformation/transport and assessed environmental impacts of animal waste application to
