I specifically have worked on the outcomes, antecedents, and remedies of firms financial misstatement. The main research questions that I am curious about are (1) How does the market evaluate firms financial misstatement? (2) How do firms recover from their spoiled reputation after committing wrongdoings? and (3) Why do CEOs engage in more severe financial misstatement? To address those research questions, I have conducted three empirical studies. I have also worked on other research topics including entrepreneurship, CSR, and innovation. (1) Unwanted signal: A negative signal of financial restatement in acquisition transaction (2) What makes a CEO more aggressive?
