ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE Project Assistant (AVRR) G4 Pristina, Kosovo IV Migration AVRR - Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration // AVRR - Project Coordinator Chief of Mission Working under the direct supervision of the AVRR Project Coordinator and in accordance with the overall directives received from the IOM Chief of Mission the incumbent will be based in Pristina and will provide return and reintegration assistance to the AVRR Project beneficiaries and assist in the implementation of the IOM Regional Projects. III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES page 1 of 4
2 Support the providing of counselling, referral services and reintegration assistance to the voluntary returnees that are entitled to assistance under the auspices of AVRR Projects; Provide reception assistance to the voluntary returnees at Pristina airport as well as further transportation to the final destination of returnees, including vulnerable cases and unaccompanied children (UMC); Conduct field visits to the potential beneficiaries to collect the information, monitor the progress and evaluate the implementation of the grants for reporting purposes; Assist with preparing payments and ensure an appropriate level of authorization and funding from IOM Sending Missions prior to releasing purchase orders, ensuring that IOM procurement procedures and guidelines are satisfied; Collaborate with all activities under the Italian Family Tracing and AVRR of UMC Project contact the families and the MLSW regional offices, conduct the interviews with the family members and gather relevant information, prepare reports and encode to the database; Assist the Project Coordinator in the implementation of the Regional Projects and be responsible for financial, administrative and technical oversight in line with IOM policies as well as donor requirements; Participate in relevant seminars, meetings, and other events to promote project activities and disseminate results; Perform any other tasks as assigned by the AVRR Project Coordinator and/or the IOM Chief of Mission. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High/Secondary School diploma from an accredited educational institution with four years of relevant experience OR University degree with two years of relevant experience. Experience in project implementation in the humanitarian assistance or related areas; Driving license Experience in monitoring and reporting; Knowledge in operating Microsoft office; page 4 of 4
