Greenheck s worldwide leadership in providing cost-effective, valueadded solutions for air movement and control evolved from rather humble beginnings. Bernie and Bob Greenheck opened their small sheet metal shop in Schofield, Wisconsin USA in 1947 with steadfast determination that no product would ever leave their shop unless it met the most stringent quality standards their own. The innovative ventilation solutions that followed helped Greenheck expand distribution throughout the world. Today, you can find Greenheck products efficiently moving air in commercial buildings, institutions and factories throughout North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. In 2004, Greenheck purchased The Airolite Company. Airolite s sterling reputation as America s most experienced manufacturer of architectural louvers, sun controls, screens and ornamental grilles dates back to 1920 when Airolite began marketing America s first metal louvers. Accurex began in 2007 when Greenheck discovered building owners and facility managers needed a supplier that specialized in integrated, fully engineered kitchen ventilation systems. Application Engineers Assist sales/marketing team in the areas of product planning and development, coordination of application support, special designs, product and application training programs for the respective product line and its channels. Manufacturing, Lean and Industrial Engineers Enhance factory productivity, cost reduction and product quality through the analysis and continued improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, material flow, plant layout, methods and product design. Product Development Engineers Produce designs and redesigns of new and existing products to complement and enhance product offerings and continually improve quality, minimize production costs and sustain a competitive advantage in the air movement and control industry. Engineering Co-op Program Provides hands-on, educational engineering opportunities for students currently enrolled in a four-year college or university. 6 How we make buildings comfortable, efficient and attractive. Greenheck Greenheck air movement and control products include fans, dampers, lab exhaust systems, louvers, kitchen ventilation equipment, energy recovery units and make-up air units. Typically, our products move fresh air into a building, heat it or cool it, circulate it, recover valuable heat, cooling or humidity and then exhaust it. The incoming air is carefully balanced with the outgoing air to maintain desired pressures within the building. Our lab exhaust systems remove hazardous fumes from science labs, our kitchen ventilation systems exhaust and filter smoke and grease in restaurants and our dampers help remove or contain life-threatening smoke during fires.
