8 PTO Product Design Goal: Create a low cost/quality PTO solution for 90% of companies. Offers flexibility, but simplification of policies is recommended. Manual adjustments can be made, but take time. For unique policies not supported by Employee Navigator, a paid platform provided by a payroll provider may be the answer.
9 How Does It Work? Packages are created for groups of employees Policies are configured within the packages for each bucket of hours Policies are built with rules to allow the system to calculate time off and Leave Types for tracking. Task Groupings are used to organize tasks and trigger on events Onboarding Groupings created by default Add custom task groupings as needed for existing employees Assign Tasks to all employees or use the rules engine Preconfigured tasks for sample communications and standard data capture Flexibility to add unlimited custom tasks specific to your company Add new tasks as needed for compliance or when policies are added or updated HR Tools Track employee progress Send reminders Generate reports
