3 SPEAKER PROFILE YANG ARIF TUAN FREDRICK INDRAN X.A. NICHOLAS Chairman Industrial Court of Malaysia Yang Arif Tuan Fredrick has served as a Chairman of the Industrial Court of Malaysia from November He has served this Court in Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh; and now sits in Penang. From 1986 to 1991 he served as a Magistrate and then as a Deputy Public Prosecutor in the Judicial and Legal Service of Malaysia. He practiced as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya Ipoh, Perak and served as the Chairman of the Perak Bar and was a member of the Malaysian Bar Council from 2004 to PROF. ROBERT PAUL HEBDON Professor of Organisational Behaviour McGill University Canada Winner Of 2007 Gunderson Prize in Industrial Relations Prior to his academic career, Prof Hebdon has worked for the Ontario Public Service Employees Union for 24 years. He completed his Ph.D. in industrial relations at the Center for Industrial Relations at the University of Toronto and his academic career began at Cornell University where he taught collective bargaining for seven years. He was awarded the prestigious Gunderson prize in Industrial Relations for his contribution to the field. He has published in a wide variety of major journals. R. He is one of the employers representatives in the National Wages Consultative Council (NWCC) under the Ministry of Human Resources. He was internationally recognized upon his appointment as the Secretary - General of Confederation of Asia Pacific Employers (CAPE). He is current an Adjunct Professor at Management and Science University.
