Support the delivery of activities including rostering, recruitment, leave, timesheeting and general queries. Provide support in relation to senior medical staff as required. 3 Maintain a safe environment for patients/self/colleagues and members of the public. Escalate concerns regarding safety, quality & risk if/where they are outside of delegated authority. Implement and participate in evaluation and continuous improvement and clinical indicator processes. Demonstrate and champion the principles of Person Centred Care: o Respect & Dignity Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety, quality & risk and contributes to organisational quality and safety initiatives. Support the delivery of a quality medical workforce administrative service Compliance o Information Sharing o Participation o Collaboration. Deliver effective medical workforce services that are responsive to the needs of Health services Undertake established processes to ensure rosters are published Monitor rosters to identify gaps Provide ad hoc support to heads of department with workforce issues Work collaboratively with the Medical Workforce team to provide Provide information for accreditation audits and reviews by PMCV and Specialist colleges as requested Risk assessments completed and controls implemented. Incident/s reported as soon as practicable. Undertake incident investigations. Injured employees are managed within Guidelines. Orientation records. Training records. Accreditation outcomes. Patient satisfaction and experience survey results. Participate in implementation and delivery of annual quality plan and business plan. Doctors have access to prompt and reliable medical workforce services Compliance standards are met Accurate information is kept and provided for compliance activities in accordance with requirements

4 Recruitment and contracts Prepare and organise recruitment activities relating to medical staff including advertisements, position descriptions, booking interviews and preparing paperwork Contracts and associated paperwork are issued in accordance with Mercy Health requirements in a timely manner New starter paperwork is checked and monitored Recruitment is undertaken in a timely was and process ensuring the effective operation of departments New starter paperwork is issued and returned prior to commencement Secondments Rostering & Information delivery Record and track doctors engaged through secondment and rotational agreements for WMH and MMH junior doctors Ensure seconded doctors are sufficiently vetted to undertake work at Mercy Health Liaise with parent hospitals as directed Undertake administrative rostering tasks to ensure adequate coverage Input rosters into PayGlobal or alternative rostering system Source coverage as requested by the Head of Department including operating the SMS system Deliver accurate information to doctors about matters such as basic leave, Enterprise Agreement and Mercy policy issues Seek assistance or escalate relevant matters to the Human Resources representative in a timely way Secondment arrangements are complied with and recorded Accurate records are kept for seconded doctors Positive relationships are maintained with parent hospitals Rosters are maintained and issues identified and accurate information is provided to doctors Issues are escalated appropriately by the MWU Mercy Health policies are complied with

5 Provide support to all junior medical activities at WMH & MMH including direct appointments and secondments Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an effective service that meet the needs of doctors Escalate issues relating to junior doctors through the appropriate individuals Junior Medical Workforce at WMH & MMH Department heads report decreased time spent on junior medical administrative matters Administrative activities are completed within the timelines set Rotational Doctor feedback is improved Directly employed doctors are provided with opportunities to connect with the organisation relevant to their situation Employee s Signature: Date: Print Name: Manager Signature: Date: Print Name:
