KP PUBLICATION IS COURSE CONTENT FOR WITS BUSINESS SCHOOL MBA Knowledge Pele s paper, Lost In Procurement, was published in the book Earth, Wind and Fire in The paper details the disjuncture between state procurement and genuine community development. It proposes an alternative Economic Development monitoring approach to ensure that compliance aligns with development impact. It has been taught at Wits since KP IS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY OF CAPE TOWN S POVERTY INITIATIVE The University of Cape Town (UCT) has partnered with KP as part of its Poverty Initiative research programme. The purpose of the partnership is to gain insights regarding community development from KP. These insights are deemed as necessary for UCT s contributions to national policy.
