8 IFMA and the Airport Facilities Council The Airport Facilities Council (AirFC) of IFMA holds an annual spring conference for learning The AirFC is developing an Airport Benchmarking website The benchmarking work is being developed in partnership with the National Research Council The AirFC is providing a Scholarship opportunity for students focused on Facilities Management and Aviation 8

9 The Toronto Airport Example In 2007 the Airport completed a major development program The Authority transitioned from a constructor to an operator and customer focused organization The GTAA became an active member of IFMA and the Airport Facilities Council Facilities Management knowledge was applied to improve efficiency Professional Development became a key a focus 9
