2 SITE CONDITIONS Shipping Weight SORIC lbs. SORIC lbs. Rough Opening Recessed applications require a 74 W x 79 H x 30 D rough-in opening. Consideration and planning must be given by the general contractor to provide access panels above the unit for future service access and to provide stainless steel trim around the cabinet. Flooring Conditions The unit is equipped with leveling feet which will compensate for un-level floors. pplications requiring seismic anchorage require removal of leveling feet and use of shimming material to achieve a level state. Verify that the concrete slab to which unit is anchored is not cracked. Electrical Electrical services shall be provided by general contractor in accordance with facility requirements and national and local code ordinances by the general contractor. ll wall j-boxes rough-in must be completed prior to installation of the unit. Communication & Other Services Communications and other services shall be provided by general contractor in accordance with facility requirements. SORIC unit shall provide junction boxes to facilitate utility services. Cabinet provides an optional removable panel on the rear to facilitate utility routing. It is recommended to have the utilities be delivered from a junction box that is mounted behind one of the access panels in the upper compartment or in the lower compartments. Seismic nchorage Seismic applications require specific anchorage. Equipment anchorage provided by others. Calculation specification sheets available from SKYTRON. Structural Engineer of Record (SEOR) shall design the correct embedment and check the floor structure to support loading. nchors must be at an adequate distance from all slab openings or edges. Verify that anchors used to secure the unit are at an adequate distance from any new or existing anchors. Surface Preparations ll finished surfaces are coated with a protective layer of plastic sheeting. It will be necessary to remove portions of this sheeting during the installation process and once the installation is complete. To assist in the process of removal it is recommended to use a heat gun on a low setting to help soften the grip of the plastic to the stainless steel. Recommended tools - Heat Gun Cleaning Instructions The exterior and interior of the cabinet should be cleaned regularly using a mild soap and water solution or a cleaner formulated for stainless steel and a soft cloth. Do not use strong soaps, abrasives or steel wool. Tools required: Phillips screwdriver or drill with Phillips #2 bit Level Materials handling equipment Utility knife Slotted screwdriver set Wire strippers U.S. socket set U.S. open end wrench set Recommended: Heat Gun

The top and bottom sections are shipped independently to facilitate shipping and handling procedures. Position the two crates near the installation area prior to removing the crating to avoid damage. Remove all crating material and remove the two sections from the respective bases. Refer to figure 1 on page 2. Caution should be observed as the optional Back Cover is shipped loose. Install optional back access cover using #10x5/8 SS TEK screws provided, place the completed assembly in final position and adjust leveling feet as required. NOTE Silicone, food grade caulking is recommended as a sealant in seams and joints along the desktop surfaces for added protection. Consult local and state codes for specific requirements. WRNING lways use caution when lifting and positioning. Follow OSH and state safety guidelines to avoid personal injury. Employ additional assistance if required. CUTION ll exposed surfaces are covered with a protective layer of plastic. This will need to be removed prior to final assembling of the unit. Place the upper section on the base unit, align the fastening holes and secure the two sections with the #10x5/8 SS TEK screws provided. lign the pins on the bottom of the side panels with the holes in the base unit, install the side panels and secure with the #10-32 screws provided. Side panels may be installed at a later date to facilitate utility routing and termination. Install all electrical and communications outlets with cabling as required. These are specific to each application and must be performed by a qualified electrician. During most applications, the electrical contractor should provide flexible conduit to facilitate sliding the unit in and out of placement. Install shelf clips (16) in upper compartments as desired and install shelves with the cable access holes to the rear. WRNING lways exercise caution when handling equipment to avoid personal injury. The SORIC-72 provides a shared hub for information systems distribution within and outside the surgical suite. OPTIONS Standard Phone, Computer and Video Connectors can be provided. Specify type. Control of Lighting, udio, Video, Data and MIS Equipment System operations can be provided as custom applications. RCHITECTURL SPECIFICTIONS Operating Room Integration Center shall consist of a stainless steel cabinet designed to store video, audio and communications equipment. Junction boxes shall be provided for ease of routing electrical, communication and video cabling. Upper compartments have three lift and slide, tempered glass pocket doors, and four adjustable stainless steel shelves. Lower compartment shall include mounting location for SkyVision and a pull-out work surface. Heavy duty, adjustable leveling feet shall be included. Built-in chase shall allow space for up to four 20 mp circuits. Hospital Grade Electrical Receptacles are available for upper and lower compartments.
