TRF : Maintenance Schedule 2019 GRTgaz and Teréga
Agenda 1st part: the consolidated Maintenance Schedule 2019 (1h) What s new Focus on the superpoints Trans@ctions and Smart Our new simulator 2 nd part: Management of GRTgaz and Teréga common superpoints (30 min) Focus on the transfer system, With the simulator and on trans@ctions 2
1st part: Consolidated Maintenance Schedule 2019 What s new Focus on the superpoints T@ and Smart The simulator 3
1st part: the consolidated maintenance schedule What s new Focus on GRtgaz active superpoints How to read the restrictions on Trans@ctions and Smart Our new superpoint simulator 4
What s new A CPRTt (probable capacity) more precise The CPRTt gives a good view of the available capacity on a situation of reasonable network requests. In the previous maintenance schedule, the CPRTt was based on median consumptions. It takes now into account probabilities on works. 5
What s new 2 superpoints with planned restrictions in GRTgaz this summer: SPNS1U (formerly SP0004) SSPNS3D (new) (SPNS3D sub-superpoint) U = Upstream (the entries are restricted) Dunkerque Dunkerque LNG Nord-Est BELGIUM Virtualys LUX. Amont GERMANY Obergailbach Montoir Nord-Ouest Atlantique NS1 NS2 N3 Oltingue SWITZERLAND ITALIA D = Downstream The exits are restricted Pirineos SPAIN Lussagnet Aval NS3 Sud-Est Fos 6
What s new A publication only applicable on GRTgaz s network.. For superpoints co-managed with Téréga, each TSO publishes the restriction on its sub-superpoint : SPNS2D -> Restriction published on SSPNS2D (Atl+SE+Montoir+Fos) SPNS3D -> Restriction published on SSPNS3D (Atl+Montoir+Fos) but the same restriction rate for GRTgaz and Téréga s sub-superpoint 7

Dates of superpoints activation on GRTgaz side (summer 2019) Dunkerque Dunkerque LNG N1 Nord-Est BELGIUM Virtualys LUX. Amont SPNS1U: 15 days: 9/05, 13/06 to 16/06, 20/07 to 26/07, 20/08 to 22/08 Impacted points (REC): Virtualys, Obergailbach and Oltingue PIR GERMANY Obergailbach Montoir Nord-Ouest Atlantique NS1 NS2 N3 Oltingue SWITZERLAND ITALIA Lussagnet Aval Sud-Est NS3 Pirineos SPAIN Fos SSPNS3D: 65 days: 27/05 to 28/06 and 01/07 to 01/08 Impacted point GRTgaz for GRTgaz Maintenance (DEL): Schedule Atlantique 2019 PITS & GRTgaz and Teréga 10
The restrictions on the points impacted by superpoints 3 points are impacted by the superpoints in 2019: PITS Atlantique (SSPNS3D), PIR Virtualys et Obergailbach (SPNS1U) The following graphs show for each day: Storengy restriction (for storages) GRTgaz restriction directly on the point GRTgaz superpoints restrictions : be careful, the indicated restriction rate does not take into account the superpoint s flexibility; it corresponds to the restriction rate for a monopoint shipper The indicated restriction rates are calculated on the base of: The probably available capacity (CPRTt) The subscribed capacity 11
Atlantic PITS SSPNS3D: (Atl + Fos + Montoir) Possibility to obtain more UIOLI if LNG in Montoir or Fos + flexibility and UIOLI with Teréga SSP 12
The Atlantic storage can be filled with this maintenance schedule LNG flows relieve the constraints on Atlantic, allowing more UIOLI Reasonable assumptions relieves all or almost all constraints Very prudent assumptions with no LNG. GRTgaz maintenance delays 100% filling by one month 13
Virtualys and Obergailbach PIR SPNS1U: (Virtualys + Obergailbach+Oltingue) Probable restriction rates (based on the CPRTt) on Virtualys and Obergailbach entry PIRs Possibility to obtain more UIOLI if exits in Oltingue + flexibility between the 3 entry points 14
1st part: the consolidated maintenance schedule What s new Focus on GRtgaz active superpoints How to read the restrictions on Trans@ctions and Smart Our new superpoint simulator 15
Visualisation on portal Select the gas day and the point. If there are works on a superpoint which impacted the point, the superpoint would appear. It could be : 1. Works with no impact on capacities called «small impact works» - no CMNTt/CPRTt, no restiction rate - publication notice type XXITXXX 16
Visualization on portal 2. Works with impact on capacities : CMNTt/CPRTt and MaxTRf/ProbableTRf publication notice type XXPTXXX - The restriction rates on storages haven t been available since the single side nomination with storengy. It will be reactivated on march (new T@ version). 17
Use the file (csv ; xml) 18
Visualization on Smart GRTgaz 3 different menus: CAM points / non CAM points / Superpoints Web page and exports updated frequently: every 30min. 19
Visualization on Smart GRTgaz Actual restriction rates for firm and interruptible capacities are displayed in the charts: 20
Visualization on Smart GRTgaz: superpoints Probable and minimum available capacities during the maintenance are published in the export files (csv or xls) as well as probable and maximum restriction rates. 21

Proposal for new publication schedule A First publication in october, before the first storage auctions and later than the previous years (august) in order to have a more consolidated publication and avoid big changes. An update in december, in case of significant changes October Y-1 Storages auctions in november December Y-1 Storages auctions in january & february End of Feb. Y D-60 WD-5 D-1 (3pm) publication of Provisional program If needed, update send by First Publication on Trans@ctions Restrictions Updates GRTgaz Shippers Meeting February 13, 2018 Accessibility Levels: Public: x 24
1st part conclusion The maintenance program is optimized an simplified: Only 2 active superpoints on GRTgaz side Downstream storages can be filled in (Atlantic) You can use our superpoint simulator to have a better view on your restrictions next summer 25
Any questions? 26
2 nd part: Management of GRTgaz and Teréga Focus on the transfer system, with the simulator and on 27
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga The 3 (NS2 downstream, NS3 downstream, NS4 downstream) contain restricted points in both TSOs: -Pirineos IP and Lussagnet PITS for Terega, -Atlantique and South-East PITS for GRTgaz. (Fos and Montoir PITTM are bonus.) -> GRTgaz and Teréga developped a solution which preserves the flexibility between both TSOs 28
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : the principles NS2 downstream et NS3 downstream: There are restricted points on both sides. These superpoints are divided in 2 sub-superpoints (SSP) with the same restriction rate. (1 Teréga and 1 GRTgaz, which work as today). These 2 SSP «communicate» with the 2 following tools: NS4 downstream: There is no restricted point for GRTgaz. COE transfer (per shipper) from one TSO to the other (nominated by the shipper) (it is not a transfer of subscribed capacity but of operational capacity, the right to use it) UIOLI mutualisation between GRTgaz and Teréga (transparent for the shippers) Fos «bonus» is automatically transfered from GRTgaz to Teréga, by shipper (transparent for the shipper) 29
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream 3 Steps: 1. The TSOs split the superpoint (SP) available capacity between the 2 sub-superpoints (SSP) (transparent for the shipper) 2. The shipper nominates a transfer quantity from one SSP to the other (-> action for the shipper, only if he wishes to have the whole SP flexibility) 3. The TSOs calculate the confirmations on their points, with a mutualized UIOLI between both TSOs (transparent for the shipper) 30
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream Step 1: The available capacity on the superpoint is dispached between Teréga and GRTgaz SSP to COS pro-rata (so that each SSP has the same restriction rate on COS) Example: maintenance on NS3 downstream: (16th of June) Superpoint (SP) NS3 downstream (Atlantic+Fos+Montoir+Pirineos+Lussagnet) COS (exit) (GWh/d) 802 CPRTt (exit) (GWh/d) 390 TRf = 1-390/802 = 51% Sub-superpoint (SSP) Teréga NS3 downstream (Piri+Lus) GRTgaz NS3 downstream (Atl+Fos+Montoir) COS (exit) (GWh/d) CPRTt (exit) (GWh/d) = 390*480/802 = 233 = 390*322/802 = 157 In GRTgaz maintenance schedule, you can find available capacities on GRTgaz SSPs (and not on the whole SP) TRf GRTgaz Maintenance Schedule 2019 & GRTgaz 51% and Teréga 51% 31
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream 3 Steps: 1. The TSOs split the superpoint (SP) available capacity between the 2 sub-superpoints (SSP) (transparent for the shipper) 2. The shipper nominates a transfer quantity from one SSP to the other (-> action for the shipper, only if he wishes to have the whole SP flexibility) (with the simulator and on trans@ctions) 3. The TSOs calculate the confirmations on their points, with a mutualized UIOLI between both TSOs (transparent for the shipper) 32
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream Step 2: If a common superpoint is activated, the shipper can transfer some operationnal capacity from one TSO to the other. So, he can use the flexibility of the whole superpoint. For example, if he does not use all his capacity on Atlantic, he can use it on Lussagnet or Pirineos. The maximum transfer quantity is: The resulting rights on GRTgaz subsuperpoints are: Transfer max GRTgaz Teréga = COE SSP GRTgaz + bonus COE with bonus and transfers = COE SSP GRTgaz + bonus + Transfer Teréga GRTgaz - Transfer GRTgaz Teréga (and the contrary for Teréga -> GRTgaz) 33
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream Maintenance on NS3 downstream: (16th of June) With the simulator (1/2): (shipper having subscribed 50 GWh/d on Atlantic and 20 on Fos) Shipper Data PITTM Montoir PITS Atlantique PITTM FOS PITS Sud-Est ID IT0002 PSC000CA IT0001/03 PS000SA COS (Exit) 50 COE(Exit) COS (Entry) 20 COE (Entry) Before nomination, Transfer max = COE (+ bonus = 0) Transfert GRTgaz -> Teréga Transfert Teréga -> GRTgaz SSPNS3D COSsp(Exit) 50 max -25 COEsp(Exit) 25 transfer nomination COE with bonus transfer 25 and transfert confirmation 0 Nomination Confirmation 34
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream Maintenance on NS3 downstream: (16th of June) With the simulator (2/2): the shippers nominates The shipper bonus in Fos is confirmed (10) Shipper Data PITTM Montoir PITS Atlantique PITTM FOS PITS Sud-Est ID IT0002 PSC000CA IT0001/03 PS000SA COS (Exit) 50 COE(Exit) COS (Entry) 20 COE (Entry) The shipper s nomination is curtailed to COE with bonus and transfers = = 20 -> Transfer max = COE + bonus = = 35. -> The transfer nomination is confirmed (15) Transfert GRTgaz -> Teréga Transfert Teréga -> GRTgaz SSPNS3D COSsp(Exit) 50 max -35 COEsp(Exit) 25 transfer nomination -15 COE with bonus transfer 20 and transfert confirmation -15 Nomination GRTgaz Maintenance Schedule 2019 &-40 GRTgaz and Teréga 10 Confirmation
The TSOs calculate the confirmations on their points, with a mutualized UIOLI between both TSOs (transparent for the shipper) 36
Management of GRTgaz and Teréga : focus on NS2 downstream and NS3 downstream Step 3: the TSOs calculate the confirmations. Each TSO calculates the confimations on his points, according to his superpoint system, as usual: 1. Firm rights, taking into account the bonus and the transfers (cf simulator) 2. UIOLI within the rights 3. UIOLI above the rights The UIOLI is mutualized between GRTgaz and Teréga. For example, if a shipper does not use his capacity on Atlantic, it can be used either on GRTgaz or on Teréga points by the other shippers. And the contrary. This is totaly transparent for the shippers. 37
How to nominate your transfered capacities: Contractual point type : TRC Capacity Transfer Point Point names : TRNS2D between SSPNS2D [Atlantic & South-East] and Téréga TRNS3D between SSPNS3D [Atlantic] and Téréga Same rules, same ways for nominate 38
How to visualize your transfered capacities : On your confirmation notice 39
How to visualize your transfered capacities : The transfer capacity send to Téréga has been curtailed at the maximum transfer capacity which is calculated as : The maximum transfer quantity is: Transfer max GRTgaz Teréga = COE SSP GRTgaz + bonus On the exemple : Bonus = kwh (withdrawal form South-East storage) COE on SSPNS2D is kwh 40
2nd part conclusion You can use the transfer facility if you wish to have more «firm» flexibility between GRTgaz and Teréga Thanks to mutualized UIOLI, the «unused» capacity on the SP can be used both on GRTgaz and Teréga points LNG flows will automatically benefit to all downstream storages filling (Atlantic and Lussagnet) and to exits towards Spain. Feedback in concertation meeting in May or June 41
