2 CP is moving to automated gate kiosk processes and technology this year which is changing the way that trucks enter and exit CP intermodal terminals. Cameras, automated kiosks and gate arms are being installed that will permit entry and exit of trucks. What is coming? CP FastPass, a new mobile app for drivers, allows entry and exit transactions to be performed prior to arrival at the gate. The automated gate system is being installed at CP terminals as they are implemented (phased approach). A Remote Operations Centre is available to support the drivers with registration and any issues that may arise with the technology or at the gate. 2 AUTOMATED GATE KIOSKS

Register for the CP FastPass App Go to to start the registration process or snap a photo of the QR code below. Registration must be done prior to approaching the ramp, either on a smartphone or desktop computer. Tap or click new User then Select Terminal, Licensing Province and your license number then On the next screen, enter your mobile number and your . Tap or click Select the dray company you wish to register under and tap *Terminal: *License Issued By: *Driver s License Number: Welcome NOTE: These details must match Oasis registration information. Hazardous: Indicates if the loaded container contains hazardous goods as indicated in the customer s billing. Bad Ordered: Indicates if loaded or empty container is bad ordered. 5 Equipment Status Lookup I want to: Outgate A Container Ingate A Container Check A Booking *Container ID: Ingate a Container When to use it: Loaded container picked up at a shipper location being brought to the ramp for furtherance by rail Empty container (including - tanker empty last contained) Chassis outside CP ramp Cancel nucu64 IS BILLED Container Detail What you ll see Broker Entry: Indicates if broker entry is required. Hazardous: Indicates if the loaded container contains hazardous goods as indicated in the customer s billing. Bad Ordered: Indicates if loaded or empty container is bad ordered. What you ll see Broker Entry Required: No Hazard: No Bad Ordered: No Green banner will display if loaded billing is in place. 6 Equipment Status Lookup I want to: Outgate A Container Ingate A Container Check A Booking *Booking Number: Cancel Check a Booking When to use it: Marine booking: international driver/carrier going to CP ramp to pick up an empty ocean carrier container. Must have a valid marine booking number in the system to retrieve the unit. Domestic booking: domestic ramp carrier going to CP ramp to pick up a CP or DRP empty container or an empty private owned unit. If a specific unit number was assigned by CP, use the Outgate a container option. Must have a valid domestic booking number in the system to retrieve the unit or the CP preassigned unit number. What you ll see Green banner will display if valid booking number is entered. Red banner will display if booking number is not valid. 7 Next Steps TODAY Register for the App Check status before approaching the terminal FUTURE Driver will also be able to: Record damages Pre-gate a move and receive scan codes to expedite in- and out-gate activity Scan QR code at the gate Get the green light - gate will open Proceed into terminal Driver and Dispatch Support The Remote Operations Centre will assist with: Registration Issues at the kiosk NOTE: Driver will be directed to the Problem Handling Area while any issues are resolved.
