This bid includes all recognized Skydiving Disciplines (as defined by the SSA), including Atmo but does not include CP (Canopy Piloting) as SkyDive Rustenburg does not have the required facility to support CP. This bid also does not include Freefall Style & Accuracy Landing at this time due to specific judging and equipment requirements however SkyDive Rustenburg will consider inclusion should competitor numbers and event logistics allow for its inclusion to be discussed with SSA. 3 Page 3 of 9 3 JUDGING STAFF All judging requirements have been discussed with Stuart Robinson Available Judging Staff will only be confirmed upon awarding of Nationals and date(s) proposed In principle SkyDive Rustenburg is a suitable location for the judges as most are locally based. 3.1 JUDGING ROOM(S) Will be provided in an adjacent hanger with suitable office space and privacy requirements for the duration of the competition. 3.2 JUDGING EQUIPMENT Provided by Judges 3.3 PRINTING AND ADMIN COSTS Reasonable and adequate printing / admin costs for the judges to fulfil their service will be provided by Skydive Rustenburg 3.4 DAILY FOOD Three meals daily will be provided to approved judging staff on the official Nationals Dates. 3.5 TRANSPORT COSTS It is assumed that judging staff will be locally based so transport to and from the event will be by the judges themselves however Skydive Rustenburg will facilitate where possible to provide transport to / from the event for judges not locally based where required. 3.6 JUDGES PAYMENT Judges payment will be in accordance to the guidelines as provided by the SSA and in accordance to previous Nationals payment in this regard.

4 Page 4 of 9 4 JURY 4.1 PRESIDENT OF THE JURY To be appointed by the Chief Judge and Event organisor prior to the start of the competition and announced at the Safety Briefing. 4.2 TWO JURY MEMBERS To be appointed by the Chief Judge and Event organisor prior to the start of the competition and announced at the Safety Briefing. 5 VIDEO REVIEW PANEL This panel will be in accordance to the requirements as defined in item 5 of the 2011 request for bids document 6 AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS AND GROUND CREW 6.1 AIRCRAFT Minimum 2 (two) X328 Atlas Angel Turbine Aircraft fitted with in-flight doors, skydivers handles, skydivers steps and all required skydiving aids - both sides of aircraft however primary side is left with oversize sliding door. In the event of unservicilbility of the aircraft during the event, The Atlas Angel Operators will provide a 3 rd back-up aircraft. The Atlas Angels are regular jump aircraft at 4 South African drop Zones and require no further CAA certification. They are also known to most SA Skydivers and are readily available for pre-event training at any of the Angel SkyDive Drop Zones. In addition SkyDive Rustenburg will provide additional aircraft and lift capacity as required in the weeks directly prior to the event for Team Training purposes. 6.2 AIRCRAFT COORDINATOR Pieter le Roux (Chief Pilot) Skydive Rustenburg will be responsible for this role as well as all pilot, ATC, fuelling liaison etc. All competitor, meet director and judging requirements will be discussed and agreed beforehand. In addition the Event Safety officer and / or meet director will liaise and coordinate between all parties regarding aircraft operations 6.3 PILOTS Chief pilot will be Pieter le Roux with 2 nd and 3 rd Pilot(s) as required and supplied by Atlas Angel Corporation. In the event of incapacity or unavailability a back-up pilot will be provided the 3 rd aircraft and pilot will be available but will be off-site unless required. 6.4 LOADMASTERS To be provided by Skydive Rustenburg as required. 6.5 RADIO OPERATORS To be provided by Skydive Rustenburg as required Safety Officer to coordinate

5 Page 5 of REFUELLERS To be provided by Skydive Rustenburg and coordinated by duty pilot(s) 7 REGISTRATION FEE AND MEET COSTS 7.1 REGISTRATION FEE Registration fee per competitor or team member R1 212 / per person 7.2 JUMP RATE & ALTITUDE - Jump rate per jump will be R220 / jump to ft AGL or below - Jump rate per jump will be R240 / jump to ft AGL - Jump altitude for all disciplines will be in accordance with altitudes required in bid document outline and FAA regulations. This altitude may be raised at the meet directors discretion for meteorological, safety and / or operational considerations - Multiple teams may be accommodated on 1 run-in or as agreed by competitors and meet director. - Note all re-jumps, practice rounds and judged practice rounds related to this competition will be for the competitors account. - Re-jumps due to failure in event organization are for the account of SkyDive Rustenburg. 7.3 SSA MEMBERSHIP All competitors shall be fully paid up members of The Parachute Association of South Africa as well as the Sport Skydivers Association of South Africa as stipulated in item 7.3 of the Request for Bids document members who have paid temporary membership are to note conditions. 8 BUDGET We are not going to provide a detailed budget at this stage. We will however consider sponsoring an element of the camera slot component of the event. 9 PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MEDIA LIAISON Advance publicity 9.2. Advertising in media releases 9.3. 6 Page 6 of PR Staff SkyDive Rustenburg Public Relations Officer Mike Rumble is competent and experienced in handling the media requirements for such an event. 10 CONDUCTING & COMPETITION DETAILS 10.1 Venue is Rustenburg Skydiving Club at Rustenburg Airfield PASA approved DZ 10.2, 10.3 & seater Quantum bus where required, additional 13 seater Quantum Bus will more than likely be positioned for the event drivers will be provided. Additional vehicles will be available on request / if required. DZ Quad Bike Any additional local transport will be provided by SkyDive Rustenburg at no charge. Should shuttles to / from major airports be required or for any other transport requirements for competitors or other relevant personnel, we will provide at market related rates. Lanseria is the preferred airport to utilise for national flights with regards to collections and transport to and from national airports. Boarding point is not more than 700 meters away Packing Hanger and normal DZ weekend facilities - Large screen TV with video / DVD / download facilities will be available in the Clubhouse, additional will be provided. - Adjacent hangars will be made available - Skydive Rustenburg will provide an additional suitable Marquees for packing and team rest areas - Trolley / walk through area in adjacent open hanger - Additional Packing area on the grass or in the DZ hanger as per normal ops - 2 male and 2 female toilets with additional at flying club - 2 male and 2 female for competitors - 1 male / female for staff - Additional portaloos / showers will be hired in or built. - Camping for competitors on DZ lawn free of charge - No chalets / wooden huts are available due to staff requirements - Local accommodation ranging from budget to luxury is available in Rustenburg and surrounds this will be provided through an existing central website with a dedicated page and multiple options. Sun City is 47km away by road, special packages will be negotiated with Sun City through PR Officer Mike Rumble

More than likely at one of Sun City s many venues. PR Officer Mike Rumble continues to do work at a high level with Sun International and Sun City and envisages something spectacular and never before seen!
