2 What s planned 2 On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 2018 Wagyu Edge Conference, I invite you to review the opportunities offered in this prospectus, and encourage you to consider participation in our unique event. The Australian Wagyu Association conference has now become one of the largest annual events for the Australian Beef Industry and is heralded for bringing together the leading-edge of the cattle industry, innovation in research and cattle production know-how in a dynamic and progressive atmosphere. For the 2018 Wagyu Edge Conference in Mackay Queensland, we expect more than 550 national and international delegates. The timing of the event is aligned to directly feed into Beef 2018 which will draw in a large number of our existing members and a range of new members eager to learn about the Wagyu industry, our technology and support partners. Our analysis of the 2017 conference indicates that of the 480 attendees, approximately 50% of conference delegates were attending a Wagyu Association conference for their first time. 21 THE 21 Terms and conditions AWA CONFERENCE & TOUR 2-6 MAY 2018 MACKAY Placement and size of logos included in the Conference material will be at the discretion of the Conference committee and will reflect the level of support given by your organisation. All signage is to be designed to suit the requirements of the venue. The Australian Wagyu Association (AWA) requests each sponsor who is provided with a URL link from the AWA Conference web pages, to respond with a reciprocal link from your organisations website to the AWA Conference web home page. All company representatives attending the conference must complete a conference registration form (for name tag and catering purposes). All company representatives attending and participating in the Conference must register and pay the nominated sponsor registration fee. Some packages include sponsor registrations in which case this fee is not payable, however a completed registration form is still required. Sponsor registrations include a nametag, Conference satchel, day catering (M/T Lunch and A/T) during Conference hours and both of the evening functions. Additional sponsor registrations may be purchased for company staff at the discounted rate of $440 per person (inclusions as per above). A completed and signed Sponsorship Form must be submitted to initiate sponsorship. A Tax Invoice will be provided upon receipt of confirmation form. Booth allocations A map of the trade display will be provided prior to conference to allow sponsors to select three preferences for their desired booth location. Allocations of preferences will be made firstly based on the level of sponsorship investment, then by date of sponsorship confirmation. Confirmation of sponsorship is only made once payment is received. PAYMENT Upon receipt of your sponsorship form, the AWA will issue a tax invoice for the full amount. CANCELLATION POLICY Once sponsorship is confirmed. Due to the considerable administration associated with this Conference, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the full payment amount will be incurred should confirmed agreements be cancelled before 1 February Cancellations after 1 February 2018, confirmed sponsors will pay a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the full payment amount of the confirmed agreement. All requests for cancellations must be made in writing to the AWA Conference Manager (Sponsorship & exhibition policy).
