2 Effective August 1, 2011, Youth, Young Adult and Student discounted programs on Everyday Banking Plans are changing.

3 Youth, Young Adult and Student discounted programs are changing as of August 1, There are a few changes being made to the discounted programs for your Everyday Banking Plans. The chart below shows the differences between the current descriptions and the new ones. Current New August 1, 2011 Youth (ages 0 15) Kids (ages 0 12) Young Adult (ages 16 20) Student (ages 21+) (post-secondary school with proof of full-time enrolment)* Recent Graduate (any age) (1 year after finishing post-secondary) Teens (ages 13 18) Students (ages 19+) (post-secondary school with proof of full-time enrolment)* Recent Graduates (any age) (1 year after finishing post-secondary) Eligible Everyday Banking Plans As part of the changes, we are updating the Everyday Banking Plans eligible for the discounted program. As of August 1, 2011, the three Everyday Banking Plans that will be eligible are: Plus Plan Performance Plan Premium Plan If you are currently in one of the plans listed above, you will remain in that plan. If you are in any other plan, your account will be moved into the Plus Plan starting August 1, 2011.

4 Plan Details Plus Plan includes: 30 transactions in branch, by phone, online or at a BMO ABM 1 Interac * e-transfer per month Discounted Monthly Banking Plan Fee FREE 1 (regular $8.50) Performance Plan includes: Unlimited transactions Earn AIR MILES reward miles on purchases made with your debit card 2 2 Interac e-transfers per month Discounted Monthly Banking Plan Fee $5.45 (regular $13.95) FREE when you maintain a monthly balance of $3,000 3 Premium Plan includes: Unlimited transactions Earn AIR MILES reward miles on purchases made with your debit card 2 10 non-bmo ABM debit transactions on the Interac network per month 2 Interac e-transfers per month Discounted Monthly Banking Plan Fee $16.50 (regular $25.00) FREE when you maintain a monthly balance of $5,000 3 *Please note: If you are 19 or 20 years of age and will be part of the new Students discounted program, you must provide proof of full-time enrolment in a post-secondary school by August 1, 2011 to continue receiving the Everyday Banking Plan discount. If you do not provide this information, your account will be moved into a regular-priced Plus Plan.

5 Special information for Teens, Students and Recent Graduates. View your transactions online. Starting August 1, 2011, if you are in the Teens, Students, or Recent Graduates discounted program, you will no longer receive paper copies of your Everyday Banking statement. However, you can easily keep track of your banking online. With online account access, you can: Check balances and recent transactions View, download and print account details (dating back two years at anytime) Set up bill payments, and more Signing up for online banking is easy. Just visit the online banking section at bmo.com and click Register Now. Should you prefer to continue receiving a paper copy of your Everyday Banking statement, please notify your local branch or call us at CALL-BMO. The fee to receive a paper statement is $2 per statement per month. Contact your branch by August 1, To enjoy your Kids, Teens, Students or Recent Graduates discounted program on your Everyday Banking Plan, please ensure your branch has your correct date of birth on file. If we do not have your date of birth on file by August 1, 2011, you will be moved into a regular-priced Plus Plan.

6 Enjoy the Student Price Card ( SPC Card ) compliments of BMO 4. If you are in the Teens, Students or Recent Graduates discounted program, you will receive a free SPC Card. It gives you access to hundreds of exclusive deals and discounts on food, fashion, travel and more from a variety of retailers. For more information about the discounted program changes, please visit your branch or bmo.com/agreements 1 Customer is responsible for all the fees of any transactions, services and products not included in the Everyday Banking Plan. 2 Earn 1 AIR MILES reward mile for every $40 you spend on your debit card from your Primary Chequing Account with one of the following Everyday Banking Plans: Performance or Premium plan. You can earn as many as 40 reward miles per month on your lead account. The lead account is the one you designate to pay any fees required by your banking (i.e., monthly Plan fees, transaction fees). 3 The monthly Banking Plan fee can be eliminated by maintaining the minimum monthly balance indicated at all times in a Primary Chequing account that has been designated as the lead account for your Banking Plan. Customers with a BMO SPC MasterCard ^ will not receive a separate SPC card with their account.
