2 Maker Faire inspires, informs, connects, and entertains thousands of attendees in a family-friendly environment that celebrates technology, education, science, arts, crafts, engineering, food, sustainability, and more. Maker Media produces two annual flagship Maker Faires, Bay Area and New York, partners with museums and organizations to produce Featured Maker Faires, and works with communities to license Mini Maker Faires around the world. The Pueblo Mini Maker Faire is hosted in cross-organizational collaboration with Colorado State University Extension Pueblo County, Pueblo City and County Library District, Pueblo Community College and Colorado State University - Pueblo. We have the organizational capacity to bring this event to Pueblo, but we need your support to make it happen.

3 Attendees in 1000's History of Maker Faire in Colorado The First Mini Maker Faire was brought to Colorado by Elise VanDyne in Elise VanDyne is behind the NoCO and Denver Mini Maker Faires which have now joined forces to become a featured faire in 2017 hosted at the Merchandise Mart in Denver, CO. The event is a two-day ticketed event featuring makers from all over Colorado. Robot Resurrection made by Colorado Artist: Shane Evans Colorado Springs is hosting their third Mini Maker Faire a single day FREE event at the Colorado Springs Library District, Library 21C branch in Colorado Springs. Joining Colorado s other Maker Faires to celebrate Colorado Maker Month, Pueblo is hosting their first Mini Maker Faire at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, October 27 th & 28 th, The event is a two day ticketed faire with an education day planned for Friday and the public event kicking off Friday evening with a Fire and Lights show and Box Truck Night Market. Saturday will feature a traditional Maker Faire with the Ag Palace hosting the Maker Marketplace and the drone race course and sumo robot challenges. The Colorado Building will feature the Think Up Stage and Makers in the Dark. 11 MAKER SCHOOL SPONSOR Support local students to attend the PMMF Maker Education Day by sponsoring their transportation and lunch. We are inviting all of Pueblo s Middle School Students to attend the Pueblo Mini Maker Faire. However, many of their schools and teachers don t have the budget to bring them to the faire. Your support will enable kids attending one of these low income schools to attend the PMMF and it will buy them lunch. Sponsorship includes: Food and Beverage for up to 35students & 10 adult chaperones.
