13 General Project Requirements: Project Labor Agreement (PLA) for the Project 20% Apprenticeship Goal Important S/DBE Contracting and Diversity Goals Targeting 10% S/DBE and 5% DBE Goal FTA Funding and Federal Requirements for the Project

14 Kiewit-Hoffman Selected as GC/CM has been working on Preconstruction with Sound Transit At least 30% of Scope will be bid out with Public Bid Openings that K-H will manage Up to 20% of Scope will be bid out that K-H may compete for with Sound Transit managing bid process K-H may negotiate up to 50% of work with Sound Transit as Self-Perform. There are subcontract opportunities within this scope as well

15 Bidding Requirements for Public bid scopes: All bids submitted on Bid Form in Sealed Envelope Bids over $300,000 require Bid Bond Public Bid Openings Bond Required on Prime Subcontracts larger than $300,000 per RCW. Bond or Joint Check may be required over $50,000

16 Small/Disadvantaged Business Goals are Important part of the this Project Initial Goals of 10% Small Business, of which 5% is Disadvantaged, Minority and Women businesses Some Bid Packages divided into smaller packages to provide more bid opportunities Sub-tier subcontracting with Prime contractors will be encouraged during bidding of larger subcontracts.
