All construction activities will be confined within project area. The proposed group housing project s detailed Site Plan is enclosed at Annexure-1. It has total 04 Building Blocks with Building Configuration of 2Basements + Stilt, and varying heights: i.e. i.e. Orchid Tower (27 Floors), Tulip Tower (27 Floors) & Zinnia Tower (31 Floors), Aster Tower (32 Floors). Erection of structures like underground water storage, piping, electric substations, etc. and temporary site offices, RMC plant, maintenance workshop facilities & other infrastructure to support all these activities would also be involved in the project execution. There will be no physical changes outside the project boundary. Information/Checklist / Operation Phase: Solid Waste Solid wastes which are likely to be generated in project will be domestic and commercial in nature. Domestic Solid wastes: Approximately kg/day of solid waste will be generated from the existing and project activity; these will be collected from designated locations and segregated into inorganic and organic wastes. For Organic Waste which will be approx.: Kg/Day is treated and disposed through Organic waste converter (OWC). OWC will be installed on site & Organic biodegradable waste will be composted in the composter at site only. The inorganic non-biodegradable wastes will be segregated and sold to Authorized vendors for recycling as per Solid Waste Management rules, Commercial waste (E-wastes): E-waste will start being generated after a latency period of 4-5 years. Since most of these components are recyclable in nature, efforts will be made to recycle it to the maximum extent, hence actual waste generated as E-waste should be minimal. It is estimated that from the project about 1.96 kg/day. E -waste will be generated after 4-5 years. Management of E-waste. The principle idea of E-waste management is to recycle the E-waste generated. Authorized vendors of electronic goods will take back their old equipment/cartridge/toner rolls etc. and pay some concessions on the new equipment. On the other hand, reusable material like Page 7

Outdated computers/ fax/ phones etc. will be value added and sold to downstream uses through resellers. These arrangements will be made with existing CPCB authorized vendors to simultaneously & effectively reduce the quantity of E-waste generated and also to generate substantial revenue for running the management system. Whatever E-waste left, will be collected separately in HDPE drums and will be stored in special containments, onto puckka platforms and under lock and key. The collected e waste will be handed over to the CPCB authorized vendors for further disposal. Liquid Effluent: During construction phase only sewage generated from office toilets and same will be treated and disposed through soak pits via septic tanks. During operation phase KLD waste water will be generated which will be treated in the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of capacity KLD up to tertiary level and treated water will be reuse in flushing and green area development excess water will be drain in municipal sewage line after permission. Dewatered/ dried sludge from STP will be used as manure in horticulture Facilities for long term housing of operational Workers? Hazardous Wastes: hazardous wastes will be produced from project activities except some Spent Oil (Category 5.1) generated from D.G. sets; it will be stored in HDPE tank properly and will be handed over to authorized processor for the facility. This is a group Housing project in which total 1062 D.U. along with commercial area proposed in project. Page 8

Our project site is well connected by road, So no new road will be laid during construction or operation of the project activities except for internal roads. The project site is located in a developed area. It is well connected by roads to whole of the city, so there will be no alteration of routes or lying down of new routes done due to project activity. Internal roads within the project site will be constructed for smooth movement of traffic. There shall not be any closure or diversion of existing transport routes. So there shall not be any change in traffic movement There will be no shifting of transmission line. impounding, damming, culverting, realignment or other changes to the hydrology of surface watercourses is proposed. Total water requirement for the proposed project activity will be KLD including Fresh water (364.0 KLD) and recycled water (124.0 KLD). The water will be sourced from supply of Greater ida Industrial Development Authority. If required ground water will be abstracted only after getting prior permission from CGWA. There shall be no effect on Surface Drainage / Runoff as the required land for the project is with no any water body near the project site. For collecting storm water, storm water drainage network has been provided during the design as per the guidelines. Adequate measures will be taken to collect run Page 9

Information/Checklist 3.1 Use of substances or materials, which are hazardous (as per MSIHC rules) to human health or the environment (flora, fauna, and water supplies) 3.2 Changes in occurrence of disease or affect disease vectors (e.g. insect or water borne diseases) 3.3 Affect the welfare of people e.g. by changing living conditions? 3.4 Vulnerable groups of people who could be affected by the project e.g. hospital patients, children, the elderly etc., / The Project is a Group housing development project hence, no storage of hazardous chemicals (as per MSIHC rules) will be done, except LSD (low sulphur diesel) required to run standby DG sets. Also, the quantity stored will be below the threshold limit specified in the MSIHC rules. Suitable management practice will be adopted for the same. Suitable drainage and waste management measures will be adopted in both construction and operational phase, which will restrict stagnation of water or accumulation of waste. This will effectively restrict the reproduction and growth of disease vectors. Local workers will be employed during construction of the project and the project has beneficial impacts. 3.5 Any other causes This is development of Group Housing Project, so no adverse impact will be anticipated by this project. Information/Checklist 4.1 Spoil, overburden or mine wastes 4.2 Municipal Waste (domestic and or commercial wastes) / source of information data spoil, overburden or mine waste will be generated in this case. However excavated earth material will be generated during digging of foundations and basement. It is estimated that approximately Tons/day of total solid wastes would be generated during operational phase. Out of total organic waste will be approx.: kg/day. Rest kg/day will inorganic solid waste. The solid wastes generated during operation phase will consist of organic waste such as waste vegetables, foods etc and inorganic waste like papers, cartons, thermocol, glass plastics, polythene bags, etc. These solid wastes will be segregated into biodegradable and nonbiodegradable wastes and collected in separate colored bins. The recyclable wastes will be sold to recyclers and the biodegradable & inert wastes will be handed over to the competent authority for the further disposal. 4.3 Hazardous wastes (as per Hazardous Waste Management Rules) 4.4 Other industrial process wastes The only hazardous waste in the project would be used/spent oil from standby DG sets, which is classified as per Hazardous Wastes (Management & Handling) Amendments Rules, The spent oil will be carefully stored in HDPE drums under isolated storages, and periodically sold to authorize recyclers. Unusable and excess construction debris will be disposed at designated places in tune with the local norms. Some quantity of construction debris will be used for road construction site development activities. The excavated earth material (i.e Cu.m) shall be utilized at site for the purpose of back filling, green area development, and other site development activities and rest excess soil will be disposed in low laying site /areas. These standards themselves take care of noise pollution control/vibration control and air emission control. Hence insignificant impacts due to construction machinery are envisaged. Apart from this the construction activity will be carried out in day time only. During the operation phase of the project, the noise emission is caused only due to DG sets installed for backup power supply. As the DG sets will be placed in an acoustic enclosure, hence the noise generated meets the ambient standard as per MoEF norms. Due to the various construction activities, there will be short-term noise impacts in the immediate vicinity of the project site. The construction activities will include the following noise generating activities: Operation of DG sets, Running of RMC, Excavation for foundation and grading of the site, Construction plant and heavy vehicle movement, Construction of structures and facilities. 6.4 From blasting or piling blasting or piling will be done. 6.5 From construction or operational traffic 6.6 From lighting or cooling systems Some noise will be generated from vehicular movement in the construction and operational phase. Increase in noise and vibration due to traffic of project site will be marginal. Hence noise and vibration due to traffic is not anticipated on the project site. This will be minimized by plantation along the roadside. During power failure, operation of DG sets will generate noise. Air emissions will be generated due to increased vehicular movement and occasional use of D.G. set for which effective measures will be taken like sufficient greenbelt development and use of low sulphur diesel in D.G. sets etc. So, there would not be any deposition of pollutants emitted to air, land or water. 7.5 Is there a risk of long term build up of pollutants in the environment from these sources?
