1 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Please refer to the WWW specification sheet(s) for footwear construction and labeling information. Vendors must purchase all shoeboxes, hang tags and other packing materials from suppliers authorized by Wolverine Sourcing, Inc. All supplier contact information will be provided to the vendor by Wolverine Sourcing, Inc. 1.1 Footwear marking instructions Each pair of shoes must contain a legible label (woven or imprinted) with the following information as shown on the purchase order. Whenever possible, each identification should be on the inside back of tongue or inside counter. RN #84890 VENDOR # Country of origin Haband product code number Haband color code Shoe size Material content Permanent care labeling (for slippers only) 2. UPC/SKU/PRICE LABELS WWW UPC labels are NOT required. Each shoebox must be labeled with Haband SKU and UPC labels. 2.1 The factory is responsible for printing SKU labels that contain the Haband product code (style number), color code, and size/width. Apply the labels to the lower center of BOTH ends of the shoebox. The labels must be white with black, Arial style lettering in the following format. There are no specific label size requirements. 2 2.2 The factory is responsible for ordering and paying for Haband UPC labels from Label Masters, or by sending an request to (Hong Kong telephone # ). Provide Label Masters with the Haband product code, label type HAPB- B02 (or HAPB-B03 for poly bags), purchase order number(s), factory ship-to address, and factory contact person name & telephone number. Apply the UPC label to the center of the bottom of the shoebox. 3. SHIPPING CARTONS & PACKING 3.1 Carton requirements for footwear Top opening, regular slotted, single wall, C-flute corrugate construction. Minimum 200 pounds per square inch (PSI) bursting strength, 32 pounds per inch width edge crush test, paper weight Glued carton joints are preferred. Stapled side seams are not recommended. 3 Cartons must be sealed with tamper evident packing tape in an H pattern on top and bottom. Do not band the cartons. Maximum gross weight per carton: 40 lbs (18.2 Kgs). Cartons must meet the following dimensional requirements: Minimum Maximum Length: 20 (50.8 cm) 23.5 (59.7 cm) Width: 15 (38.1 cm) 18 (45.7 cm) Height: 10 (25.4 cm) 15.5 (39.4 cm) 3.2 Packing footwear Pack cartons according to the WWW packing list (available from partners.wwwinc.com) and apply the corresponding WWW carton labels. Place shoe boxes in carton so that the SKU labels are facing upwards and all in the same direction. The quantity to be packed in each carton is shown on the WWW purchase order. Each shoebox is to be wrapped with a rubber band to prevent the lid from opening. Pack only one stock number, size, and color per carton. Do not mix sizes. Do not use fillers of any kind. 4. SHIPPING CARTON MARKING 4.1 Carton labels Apply the WWW barcode carton label (license plate) to the lower left corner of longest side. The lower edge of the label should be between 1 (2.5 cm) and 2 (5 cm) from the bottom of the carton and the left edge of the label should be between 1 (2.5 cm) and 2 (5 cm) from the side of the carton. WWW license plates are not required for First Cost type orders. The factory is responsible for printing Haband carton labels from Haband s label printing website ( The labels can be printed by a laser printer on common label stock. To set up a login for the website, please access the website and click REGISTER to create a new account. Complete instructions for the website can be found under FORMS Haband Vendor Carton Label Printing Instructions. 4 Haband Carton Label 4.2 Carton markings Markings must be stenciled on opposite sides in lettering at least 1/2 (1.5 cm) high. Do not hand write anything on the outside of the carton. Main mark: HABAND (in diamond or triangle) Final destination (ship-to) address Customer PO number WWW Internal Reference number WWW stock number Carton sequence number (Carton X of Y) Country of origin Net & gross weights Carton measurements Carton label placement mark in the lower left corner 3.2 cm from the bottom and side edges Side mark: apply Haband carton label. 5. PACKING LIST For each purchase order, a copy of the Haband manifest is to be attached to the lead carton (carton #1). The envelope containing the manifest must be clearly marked as Packing List Enclosed. Packing lists included with shipping documents must include the following information: Vendor name: Wolverine World Wide, Inc.
