(PSA) is a 501 C(3) non-profit corporation established in The mission is to provide safe, quality, year-round recreational and competitive sports programs for the youth in Plano and surrounding areas regardless of their ability to pay. PSA s volunteer Sports Directors and coaches promote the ideals of fellowship, sportsmanship, honesty and respect for authority. PSA offers a much needed positive influence in today s society. Evidence and research show youth involved in organized sports: fare better in school; have improved social skills; are more team-oriented; and have a healthier life style. PSA provides nearly 50,000 area athletes the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports programs. Many rely on PSA s scholarship fund, totaling over $30,000 in 2007, to play the sports they love. PSA is funded by registration fees; sponsorships and private donations. Funding is not received from the City of Plano, Plano ISD or any government agency. PSA2 FEATURES: 95,000 sq. ft. multi-sports complex 8 full-sized Hard Wood Courts for Basketball and Volleyball Permanent Multi-use Arena with turf for: Indoor Soccer; Arena Football; Indoor Lacrosse Food Court and Dining Area Estimated over 1.5 million visitors each year!!! NEW ACTIVITIES FOR PSA2 Year-round Indoor Soccer Dodge Ball Futsal ( a scaled-down version of outdoor soccer played indoors) Adult Leagues: Indoor Soccer; Basketball; Volleyball; Dodge Ball; Futsal The PSA2 is open. PSA is excited to offer the community a new complex with the best courts, arena and equipment in the area in addition to the PSA StarCenter. SPONSORSHIP PRIVILEGES Sponsors receive Sponsor Event Days to reach the community by setting up a booth at either the PSA StarCenter or PSA2. Reaching over 20,000 people per weekend at the PSA StarCenter and estimated 13,500 per weekend at the PSA2! Sponsors may provide brochures/flyers to be place in Lobby Racks at the PSA StarCenter and PSA2. Sponsors may provide promotional materials for distribution at select PSA Coaches Meetings. Sponsor s logo is featured on the Digital Media Presentation at the PSA StarCenter and PSA2, Event Calendars, and PSA Flyers on a rotating basis.
