24 APEC Lab Capacity Building JIFSAN IFSTL is implementer for project funded by USDA Objective: Develop prioritization tool for investments in lab capacity building for food safety Process: Advisory group developed a table of lab capacity needs (includes staffing, methods, SOPs, infrastructure, etc.) 2 pilot economies to understand how priorities are set Regional workshop in December at UMD to refine and propose a tool for APEC region and beyond
