10 JV Setup - Legal Entity Ability to attach an 80- character Legal Name with an option to put in a longer description to an Address Book. Legal Entity is date-effective. 10

11 JV Setup - Approval List The approval list can consist of internal and external entities, along with the dates on which each entity sent in the approval for the JV. Approval artifacts can be added as attachments. 11

12 JV Setup - Joint Venture Master The approval list is attached to the Joint Venture and the approval date is added to the Joint Venture. We can assign an Address Book # as a person responsible for this Joint Venture. 12

13 JV Setup - Division of Interest (DOI) Master Date-Effective Percentage of Ownership aka Division of Interest (DOI) - Can have up to 8 decimal places and will need to total up to 100% for Active DOIs. 13

14 JV Setup - Division of Interest Assignment Rules The percentage of ownership to be used can be set up at the Company, JV, Parent (Project), Business Unit, or Account (COA) level. The most detailed Percentage of Ownership will be used during the distribution process by looking at the effective date of Active DOIs against the Service Tax date of the transaction being distributed. 14

15 JV Setup - Distributable Accounts A new attribute has been added to the account setup to indicate that the transactions for this account are Distributable to the JV partners. 15

17 JV Processing Load Joint Venture Account Ledger Use this batch job to load the general ledger transactions that will need to be distributed into the Joint Venture Account Ledger table based on the Distributable Accounts that were set up. Alternately, you can also assign the Percentage of Ownership to the newly loaded transactions by setting up the Processing Option Assign DOI or Direct Billed Entity to 1. 17

18 JV Processing Assign the Percentage of Ownership to the Transactions in JV Account Ledger Use this batch job to assign the DOI or a Direct billed internal or external partner to the transactions in the Joint Venture Account Ledger table based on the DOI Assignment Rules that we set up before. 18

20 JV Processing - Joint Venture Account Ledger Use JV Account Ledger application to: Review the DOI/Direct Billed Partner assigned to the distributable transactions. Reset/override the DOI/Direct Billed Partner for the transactions. Add an additional remark. Change the status of the transaction Available to process On Hold Error. 20

21 JV Processing Generate Joint Venture Distribution Detail Use this batch job to calculate the distributed amounts for the various partners in the Joint venture based on the Percentage of Ownership defined for each of the transaction in the Joint Venture Account Ledger. 21
