3 NETFLEX PLATFORM OVERVIEW This document aims to provide an overview of the NetFlex platform, identify the various programs that are available to NetFlex partners, and provide a high-level description of the on-boarding process. NetFlex is s Web services platform that allows independent software vendors and solution providers to extend and enhance the award-winning application. The primary goal of the NetFlex Applications Program is to attract partners and foster a collaborative approach to addressing customer needs. As part of the program, NetFlex partners can utilize s Web services API and other technical resources to create and test their applications, but without undertaking any software or hardware installation. 4 NETFLEX APPLICATIONS PROGRAM The NetFlex Applications Program governs the selection, execution and management of partners that seek to extend the application by creating integrated applications that are delivered either via on-demand or on-premise platforms. The program outlines the guidelines, policies and best practices that partners should follow. Currently, the program has two main categories: NetFlex Basic and NetFlex Certified. 5 Partner On-boarding Process Registration & On-Boarding Application Integration & Development Testing & Certification Go to Market divides the sign-up process into manageable, easy phases. As expressed in the schematic above, a typical cycle may take anywhere from 90 to 150 days. Registration 1. 7 APPENDIX Early Experience Program (EEP) In order to encourage early adoption, recommends that you participate in the Early Experience Program (EEP). The outline and restrictions of the program are as follows: Program Definition Give five to ten customers access to your application for a trial period of 30 to 60 days. In return, the customer should provide both and your company with a testimonial at the end of the trial period. The trial period could include some initial training and monitoring of the customer s application usage. Partners can even arrange webinars to achieve this step. As an EEP participant, you may chose to provide some reasonable terms for customers who decide to purchase the product. Restrictions The application/product delivered to EEP participants should be limited for evaluation purposes only. As a partner, you may request that the customer sign an agreement. However, recommends that agreements be as minimal as possible in order to reduce barriers to adoption.
