The intern will be exposed to the supply and demand fundamental of oil market, gain insights into market changes in crude oil and refined products along the value trend. The intern will also need to help doing translation and other ad-hoc jobs assigned by the trading team. 6 Petrobras Singapore Private Limited Trading Support Analyst, Internship Brief Description of Organisation s Business Activities: Petrobras office in Singapore is in charge of supporting oil and derivative trade activities in Asia, except for China. We operate, predominantly, as a petroleum, fuel oil exporter and diesel importer in the region. We also follow-up on the oil and derivative market by developing new business and seeking trade opportunities. In addition to the mentioned activities, we also supply fuel oil (bunker) to ships in Singapore and are the largest bunker supplier with low sulfur-content in this market. The coordinator will provide guidance and mentorship to intern on executing the daily trading activities. From the 9 th week onwards, the intern will also be involved in project assigned and supervised by the Planning & Performance Team. The Planning & Performance Team looks into planning, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement of the company. This internship hopes to provide the intern a greater horizon to understand the oil industry trading flow, from the perspective of front-end operation as well as back office support. Through this opportunity the intern will gain insights on how a national oil company plays its part in this vibrant market, thus provides a jumpstart of knowledge and skillset for future career development. Fundamental job description is as follows: Trading Support Analyst Summary: - Assist, under close supervision, trading support activities, such as documentation, billing and trading reports and controls in a timely manner and as established by the contract and trading team, achieving high quality and time standards. Job Duties: - Maintain knowledge of principles and concepts related to the company's deals. - Carry-out commercial invoices and payments, meeting deadlines and solving, under close supervision, arising billing and system s problems.
