We measure our involvement in organizations like Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando based on a new benchmark of our company s ROI (results, outcome, and impact). We were so blessed to be a part of the Builders Blitz, which provided a new home for a local family. Jeffrey K. 5 BUILDER EXPECTATIONS Habitat Greater Orlando will provide: Building permit numbers for your subcontactiors so they can pull their permits Inspectors on-site every day of the Builders Blitz Detail specifications sheets outlining standards of home(s) and pre-event meetings Support via our construction team prior to and during the event Site prep, including scaping and stakeout of the home on the lot Marketing initiatives including press releases to local media Overnight security on-site every day of the Builders Blitz Some gift in-kind materials including but not limited to: interior/exterior paint, door hardware, ZIP board sheathing, electrical panels and breakers, some appliances, and James Hardie siding and trim Tour of existing Habitat Greater Orlando homes as a point of reference Dates: Kick-off event on Monday, February 5, 2018 Final build day on Friday, February 9, 2017 Closing Celebration on Saturday, February 10, 2017 Builder will be asked to: Complete foundation and prep prior to event start Donate labor, materials and services to build one single-family home in five days Engage subcontractors to donate services and products needed, based on the specifications provided by Habitat Greater Orlando Review and comply with all specifications and standards to ensure all homeowners receive the same features in their new home Assist with providing food and beverages during the week of the event for their team Provide on-site signage recognizing subcontactors Consider a cash donation to assist with offsetting Habitat Greater Orlando s permit costs Provide a completed home with a one-year warranty Upon agreement, builder will sign a letter of intent 4116 Silver Star Road, Orlando, FL (407) habitatorlando.org 4

7 STAFF INVOLVEMENT Looking to get your staff involved during the Builders Blitz event? Below are ideas that have been done in the past! Food is not provided during our event and builders work around the clock. Providing breakfast, lunch, or snacks is always a great way to boost moral during the day. Habitat Greater Orlando will provide bottled water during the event week, but we need help distributing throughout each day. For past events, company branded shirts have been made by each builder and provided to subcontractors. We encourage photography and videography during the week and we will be capturing each day as well. Feel free to bring your own equipment and let us know in advance if you would like a Habitat Greater Orlando representative to be part of your footage. Share photos and videos on your social media channels to show the progress of your home during the week. For past events, builders have provided a welcome basket for their homeowner and have included company branded items such as doormats, shirts, etc. We appreciate any media exposure and if you would like to distribute our press release to your media contacts, this can be coordinated through our Marketing and Communications Manager.
