9 Accelerate the award process award contracts quickly with immediate budget control When awarding a contract, you request the prices from your selected tenderers. With NEVARIS, you can compare their quotations interactively and directly on screen: by sorting, grouping and filtering the BoQs according to any number of criteria. This enables you to quickly identify the differences between the respective quotations. 10 Measurement/invoicing check validate received invoices When checking measurements and invoices, you can manage and correct the incoming invoices for the contracts you have awarded, import the invoicing data carriers in line with ÖNORM or REB and check the determined quantity calculations. Any corrections can be transparently implemented in the individual calculation rows with NEVARIS, allowing you to immediately see the effects on the overall result. You can send all changes directly to the contractor in a correction log. With the NEVARIS TAI software, you can always keep track of the proportion of the contract amount that has already been settled or where the budget may have been exceeded, even for cumulative invoices for payment on account and final invoices. This process also allows you to manage possible additions to the main contract. 13 Cost determination from the early planning phase to cost control Using the NEVARIS cost determination feature, you can clearly track the costs of your projects from the early planning phase all the way through to invoicing, in several stages. This is done by structuring the costs of your construction project by cost groups containing varying degrees of detail. You start with the frame of costs, where you can refer to the quantitative (e.g. space allocation and function elements with areas) and qualitative (e.g. equipment standards) requirement data on the building and, where necessary, also to information concerning the building site. As a possible next step, the cost estimate is based in particular on the drawings and other documents relating to the preliminary design. You can refine this further based on the draft plans in the cost calculation. True-to-scale plans and the qualitative building description are included. The cost proposal is created based on the execution preparation after completion of the detailed design. The final costs are determined when a building has been finished and fully invoiced, and are based on the invoice data. 14 Element book take advantage of the benefits of a room book and the element method With the help of NEVARIS element or component costing, you can calculate the costs of a planned building quickly and precisely. Elements consist of several work items from different trades and together they form a whole component. These items are added to the element on the basis of an estimated factor based on experience. Elements should be formed from items in the template directories, so it is possible to transfer the current prices to the element book. Trade-specific bills of quantities can be automatically generated from element books and these then serve as a basis for the tenders. Moreover, element books can form the basis for cost estimates (e.g. in line with DIN 276). When working with CAD (e.g. ALLPLAN), you are able to allocate certain elements to the structural elements while still in the drafting stage.
