2 MCL have developed a range of GRP access chambers for use in a variety of applications including Highways, Traffic Signals/Street Lighting, Rail and Water. Strong, yet lightweight, achieving B125 to D400 compressive loadings, with standard sizes conforming to HSE regulation for one man lift, MCL s chambers are a high quality, fast build alternative to traditional brick-built and other plastic manholes. RapidSTACK TM MCL s RapidSTACK TM access chamber system is available in sizes from 450mm to 2800mm. The unique patented design provides our customers with a total chamber solution to match their exact requirements. Chambers are tested and certified to perform to the vertical load requirements specified in pr-en 124 and BS EN124: 1994 and the total range covers loadings from B125 (12.5 tonnes) to D400 (40 tonnes). The RapidSTACK TM chamber can be delivered to site fully assembled, complete with furniture, or flat-packed which saves on transport and storage costs. RapidSTACK+ overcomes the problems associated with conventional access chambers which require concrete surround, making the system extremely cost effective during the installation process. Achieving B125 loading with an integral composite cover or C250 loading with the cover within a galvanised steel frame, the interchangeable RapidSTACK+ design is available in sizes ranging from 290mm x 275mm to 1200mm x 600mm. 8 Covers & Frames continued GRP Composite A wide range of sizes are available from 275mm x 290mm, for the smallest inspection chamber, to 600mm square. A combination of twin or multiple covers, utilised with removable support beams, can achieve a much wider combination of sizes up to 1800mm in length. Manufactured in the UK at MCL, GRP composite covers are tested and certified in accordance with BS EN124: All composite covers weigh less than 25kg, therefore conform to current manual handling guidelines, and are chemically resistant to engine oil, diesel and petrol.
