5 SCOPE OF WORK Addition, remodeling and site improvements to Allegan High School. Addition, remodeling and site improvements to Allegan Alternative High School. The existing buildings will be occupied during construction. New additions will be constructed concurrently.

6 Notice to Bidders Bid security in the amount of 5% must accompany each bid. Successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance & Payment Bonds for 100% of their Contract amount.

7 Instructions to Bidders 1.02 Bidders Examination & Representation H. This is a construction management project. There is no General Contractor. The Owner will award separate Contracts for all Bid Categories Addenda Addenda will be posted to Final Addenda posted +/ Nov. 26

13 RFI PROCESS Each Bidder is encouraged to contact The Skillman Corp. in the event that problems occur or questions arise in analyzing the Drawings and Specifications, where additional clarification or information would be helpful in the preparation of a proper bid. 14 SUBSTITUTION REQUESTS Prior to receipt of bids, the Architect will consider proposals for substitution of materials, equipment, and methods only when such proposals are submitted in writing within the time period stated before the date and time set for receipt of bids, and are accompanied by full and complete technical data and other information required by the Architect to evaluate the proposed substitution. Submit all Substitution Request Forms via TO: Mark Reile, and CC: Bob Nicksic, no later than November 16, 2012
