Industrial park: the model of economic development in developing and transition economies a tract of land developed and subdivided into plots according to a comprehensive plan with or without built-up factories, sometimes with common facilities for the use of a group of industries. (UNIDO) Main benefits IPs stimulate economic development and growth IPs create wealth and jobs, improve living conditions IPs spatial confinement ease infrastructure development IPs allows the development of knowledge and innovation ' 2'
