10 Le Fonds Chaleur (french heat fund) : 660 projects: creation or extension - About 50 à 100 M per year of subsidies for district heating, - Virtuous district heating = 50% minimum renewables and recovered waste heat km district heating project funded (creation or extension ) - A 50 % potentiel growth of district heating between 2009/ toe/yr renewables and recovered waste heat transported - 70 % of renewables heat from the heat fund is transported by district heating - Level of public subsidies declining :, 300 /ml (of trench.)

12 Outside the heat fund, several french tools in support of district heating Decree 1: Ranking of district heating with an obligation of connection; in order to secure the initial investment Decree 2: Revision of the subscribed power; in order to avoid losing district heating customers Ranking CO 2 content of district heating: Get bonus on french regulation in order to convince developers/builders The CEE (energy saving certificates ) for connection on virtuous networks: a tool for district heating network densification
