6 DC Water Vulnerability to Sea Level Rise If sea level rise were to reach 5.0 meters: significant damages in excess of $24.6 billion to commercial buildings, military installations, museums and government agencies (e.g. the FBI, DOJ, IRS, FTC, and the Department of Education) including DC Water Society for Risk Analysis (SRA).
