3 RWE npower renewables RWE npower renewables (NRL) is a UK based renewables development, construction and operation company NRL is the UK subsidiary of RWE Innogy NRL operates 17 hydroelectric stations and 22 wind farms in the UK NRL has 692MW currently in operation or construction. In the SW currently operate Bears Down onshore wind farm & are awaiting determination for proposed Batsworthy Cross from D.C.C 09 PAGE 3

4 Opportunities for RWE Innogy and the UK The UK target 30-35% of electricity for renewable sources by 2020 presents challenges and opportunities for both RWE Innogy and the UK. RWE Innogy targets also ambitious in line with UK targets Capacity (GW) % capacity Estimated it will cost > 60 billion to deliver the UK EU target For UK presents significant opportunity for wealth creation via a new industry and jobs Comparable to the North Sea Oil and Gas Industry in 1980s 09 PAGE 4

17 Miscellaneous Offshore Services and Andy Owens Become involved in offshore wind 6 years ago following a conversation with another gentlemen involved in rope access Invested 3k in rope climbing course started providing a helping hand at North Hoyle Identified further opportunities checking paintwork, designing fuelling systems for generators on turbines, servicing generators Undertook suite of further training (still ongoing) - Sea Survival, Medical and first aid training Now employs 14 local people, has 2 boats and a has 1.6m contract in place to support the Rhyl Flats wind farm MOS still growing and optimistic about future projects Aiming to offer full O&M service in the future 09 PAGE 17
