15 PLUG AND PLAY TYPE A TYPE B DIRECT WIRE-INT. DRIVER UL Type A lamps are designed for plug and play installation with an existing electronic fluorescent ballasts. This lamp offers the simplest and fastest type of installation. Consult product spec sheet for a list of compatible ballasts. UL Type B lamps use an internal driver to be powered from the main voltage. The existing fluorescent ballast must be disconnected from the fixture. C DIRECT WIRE-EXT. DRIVERTYPE TYPE A&B UL Type C lamps use an external driver to be powered from the main voltage. The existing fluorescent ballast must be disconnected from the fixture. UL Type A and B lamps combine internal drivers with ballast compatible technology to make an ultra verstatile lamp.
