How we work: We teach medical professionals the skills necessary to provide eye care to their own communities. We do this through long-term programmes, local partnerships and our unique ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital; the world s only ophthalmic surgical and training facility onboard a plane. 13 CAUSE RELATED MARKETING CASE STUDIES OMEGA has created the special watches De Ville Hour Vision Blue and the Constellation Star to celebrate the partnership with ORBIS. OMEGA has pledged to donate a portion of its proceeds to contribute to the fight against preventable blindness where eye care is most difficult to get. L OCCITANE revived the art of soap making in Marseille and today their traditional natural soaps are known all over the world for their quality ingredients and attractive, traditional shapes. Between L OCCITANE supported ORBIS through the global sales of a soap product designed especially for ORBIS.

18 GIVE AS YOU EARN Payroll giving (or Give As You Earn) is a very simple scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis. It means that your donation is deducted from your salary before tax so every 1 you give will only cost you 80p, 60p (if you pay higher rate tax) or 50p (if you pay the new top rate of tax).
