6 The Problem - Youth underemployment Nearly 45% of young adults aren t employed full-time. 18 to 29 year olds have the highest underemployment rate since World War II. Number of college grads working minimum wage jobs is at highest rate ever. -AP, US Census, BLS

7 The Problem - Where will new jobs come from? New business startups - the main driver of job creation - are dying. Most new jobs come from startups. -Small Business Administration (SBA) Only half as many new businesses are being started today as a generation ago. -Kauffman Foundation
