3 29 th & 30 th November Introduction and Module 1 The Developing Talent programme is essential for senior finance professionals in the NHS SW who have the potential and drive to reach FD level within the next 3-5 years and who want to develop their personal, management and leadership skills and prepare to embrace the challenges of the new NHS. The programme will provide you with the opportunity to update your skills and develop your performance in the context of your own organisation and the wider NHS. The Developing Talent programme is structured around a series of. The programme also includes the opportunity for one to one coaching for all participants. Module 1 will introduce the programme, set up personal objectives for each individual and then go on to cover Self-Awareness. Bands 8 and 2 days Exeter 18 credits for all. Please note that only one place per organisation will be offered on a first come first served basis. 13 th December Finance & Skills: Business Case Development Have you ever heard the words you ll need to make the business case for it before we can consider it? Are you confident you know exactly what a business case is, what it consists of and how to go about creating one? This engaging and practical one-day workshop is a must for finance professionals who would like to build, write and present their business case effectively and with confidence. Bands 2 and 1 day Taunton 1 18 th January 19 th January Module 2 CPD Technical: NHS Costing Regional Networking & Training Event Communication This event is run by the Healthcare Costing for Value Institute and is aimed at hands-on operational costing practitioners and those new to the role. The programme may also be of interest to those in financial accounting and management with a role or interest in costing. There will be prominent national speakers and lead clinicians sharing with us their views on the challenges we are facing. As well as being an excellent professional development event, the South West Branch Conference provides a valuable opportunity to network.
