3 Summary Project target: the project involves the construction of a dairy farm on 1200 cattle with automated management, milk processing, fodder, with the introduction of advanced Russian and European technologies and means of mechanization. 4 Climate Kostroma Region is located in the central part of the East European Plain bordering on Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Volgograd, Kirov, and Nizhny Novgorod regions. It covers an area of sq.km. Most of Kostroma Region has a temperate continental climate with an average January temperature of - 12 C and an average July temperature of +18 C. Annual precipitation is about 600 mm. The vegetation consists mainly of softwood and coniferous forest.

9 Project description Initial information about the complex: 1) Total livestock head of cattle; 2) Heifers input per 100 cows 35 head of cattle per year; 3) Calves output per 100 cows 85 head of cattle per year; 4) Percentage of cows rejects 35 %; 5) Percentage of first lactation cows rejects 10 %; 6) Age of cows insemination 16 месяцев; 7) Bulls keeping duration 3 days; 8) Age of saplings realization months; 9) Coefficient of irregularity 1; 10) Total number of cows at the lactation section head of cattle; 11) Rhythm of production 14 days.

LLC «Volzhanka» Operating under the trade mark Casa Italia, the enterprise implements an investment project on the production of Italian cheese in Volgorechensk city of Kostroma region. Total investment volume is 104 million rub.
