3 KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO 2 AFS TAMBARAM SELAIYUR (PO) CHENNAI-73 TENDER DOCUMENT FOR EMPANELMENT OF SUPPLIERS FOR THE SUPPLY OF SPORTS KIT FOR THE YEAR Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 AFS Tambaram is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. of India, funded by the Govt. The vidyalaya intends to empanel suppliers for the supply of sports kit and other related materials for participation in the National Sports Meet A notice inviting tender to empanelment is being published in News paper the Hindu dated 07/07/11. Interested suppliers may submit tender forms by registered post to the Principal K.V. 2 AFS Tambaram Chennai 73 in envelopes superscribed Tender for sports kits duly completed by 23 rd July The tender forms may be collected from the Office K.V. 2 AFS Tambaram on payment of Rs.200/= It can be deposited in the form of Demand Draft in favour of The Principal K.V.2 Tambaram/cash through CS-12. Tender forms can also be downloaded from the school website and used. In case of downloaded forms, Rs.200/= should be paid more along with the EMD. Tenders will be opened at 3.00pm on 23/07/11 at K.V. 2 Tambaram in the presence of Purchase committee and bidders. An Earnest Money of Rs.10,000/=(Ten thousand only) is to be deposited along with the tender document. In case of approved supplier selected for empanelment, the EMD deposited by the bidder will be adjusted as security deposit. For all other rejected and unsuccessful bidders, the EMD will be returned within a week time without any interest. The supplier will be empanelled on the following terms and conditions ;- v The tenderers will be required to display the samples of the articles at K.V. 2 Tambaram at hrs on 27/07/11. The purchase committee will make the final approval after inspecting the items. The samples displayed by the tenderer will be retained till the orders are fully executed. v The rates quoted must be all inclusive taxes, packing, delivery..etc v The orders must be packed as per the instructions and delivered to K.V. 2 Tambaram, Chennai within 10 days of the order. v The supplier shall supply the items and other materials on his own and no extra charge will be paid. v In the event of defective supply of material leading to rejection of material, the supplier will replace the materials without any extra cost.

4 v Refusal to execute the supply orders shall be viewed as violation of the provisions of the agreement and the supplier may have to forfeit the security deposit. v In case of track suits, material may be preferably imported super poly. However the purchase committee will take the final decision. v Printing on track suits team wise should be 1. Front : Left side- Logo Chennai Region Right Side- the number in 4 size 2. Back : Number in 9 size, Game name/ Chennai Region 3. On the shorts the number will be printed on the left side in 4 size 4. For team games, the numbering will follow the conventions of the game 5. For team games, the set of T-Shirts will include one special padded one for the goal keeper etc
