The download ed tender forms shall be accompani ed by DD/Pay order for Rs. 500/- in favour of NPTI(SR), Neyveli 3. The firm shall submit the EMD along with quotation. The earnest money deposit for the tender should be paid in the form of Demand Draft payable at Neyveli in f a vo u r of National Power Training Institute, Southern Region, Neyveli. Tenders without EMD will be rejected. If the tender is withdrawn during the validity period, the EMD will be forfeited. The earnest money deposit with the quotation shall be adjusted against the Security Deposi t or final payment in case of successful bidder. In case of other bidders it will be returned after the expiry of validity period or the finalization of supplier whichever is earlier. 4. Vender should quote for all the schedules, as NPTI reserves the right to give preference to the firm, which quotes for all the schedules. 5. The bidders are required to furnish authorization certificate of Distributor/ Dealership/ Manufacturer along with credential for similar equipments, supplied to various reputed organizations/ Govt. or Semi. Govt. organizations together with the year of their actual supply, name and address of the customer and Income Tax clearance certificate 6. The price quoted should be firm and final F.O.R. destination. Prices must be shown in figures and words. In case of differences between words and figures the lowest of the two will be taken as the rate quoted. 7. Your offer should be sent in properly sealed covers addressed to the Principal Director, National Power Training Institute, Southern Region, Block-14, Neyveli The tender received as on the due date will be opened in the presence of the representatives of the firms, who may like to be present on the date of opening of the tenders. Principal Director, NPTI reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders at his sole discretion without assigning any reason and further reference to firm. 9. The offer should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening of tenders. Page 7 of 9

8 10. The original tender papers and specifications duly signed and stamped by the authorised signatory on each page should be submitted having accept ed the terms and conditions. The quotation without signature and stamp will be simply rejected. 11. The supplier shall visit the site and make his own arrangement and at his cost to plan and prepare the site for installation of Gymnasium % (Ninety percent) of the total payment will be made through e-payment and after completion of supply, installation, testing and successful commissioning of the equipment at site. 13. The balance payment of 10% (Ten percent) will be retained as performance guarantee and will be released after the warranty period or against Bank Guarantee for the period of warranty. 14. Installation, Testing & Commissioning The job includes supply, installation, and commissioning at site. 15. Warranty The warranty for all equipment supplied shall be for a minimum period of Three years from the date of commissioning. All defects/defective parts should be rectified and/or replaced at the suppliers cost during the warranty period and regular maintenance to be carried out during warranty period. 16. Transportation & Safety The supplier shall be responsi ble for the safety of the material during transit and during loading and unloading. NPTI does not own any responsi bility if the material is damaged during transit. 17. NPTI reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without giving any reason/ notice to the firm(s). 18. The work shall be executed as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer In-charge. Decision of the Engineer In-charge will be final and binding in case of any extra work. 19. The supplier should ensure the safety of his personnel employed for the job at his own cost through the insurance cover and this office does not own any responsibility in this regard. 20. Free delivery at our premises within three weeks of receipt of this supply order. Page 8 of 9

9 21. The supplier shall arrange for the packing and transportation of the material at his own cost till the destination (i.e. site of installation of equipment). The cost quoted shall include excise duty, other duties, transportation, transit insurance etc. Octroi, Sales tax / VAT payable shall be extra.
