1 Development Streetworks Control Technician-NRCSA Isle Isle of of Wight We are seeking a Development Control Technician to support the Highways Development Control Team Leader in the delivery of all contractual obligations with the Local Highway Authority in association with the Highways Development Control function. Liaise with and advise the Local Authority / Planning Authority, external bodies, members of the public, developers and planning agents providing technical pre-application highway advise. Assess and process the highways elements of planning applications on behalf of the Local Highway Authority. Attend and provide highway representation on behalf of the Local Highway Authority at the IWC Development Control Committee and Planning Appeals as required. Assess and process highway agreement applications. Undertaken site inspections to ensure design compliance. Management of detailed records for all schemes; Ensure delivery of legal agreements, calculation of financial bonds, commuted sums and fees. Be a member of the appropriate professional institution would be desirable Competence in writing procedures and setting up systems which reflect and promote the best practices of customer care, quality, value for money, continuous improvement, and equality of opportunity in service delivery Ability to work with minimal supervision Good practical working knowledge of the Highways Act Experience of transport planning relating to development work Full driving license Please quote reference 370 and send your application to careers@ringway.co.uk

2 Streetworks Technician-Events Ringway Island Road are seeking a Streetworks Technician to process all applications for Event Traffic Management, Traffic Regulation Orders, and License Applications on the Develop and Maintain the event data base, including links to all associated applicants Co-ordinate activities on the network between works and events promoters Develop Resource Plans for the management of Cat A and Cat B Events in accordance with the requirements of annexure 16 and contract performance standards. Design Traffic Management plans and associated signage in accordance with the requirements of the Traffic Signs Regulations and industry best practice Process requests for delegated and non-delegated licensable activities. Prepare weekly/monthly reports for the Streetworks Manager on all aspects of team performance and programming of works/ events To develop, and maintain a comprehensive communication and programme data base such that the maximum efficiency and effectiveness of the Streetworks team is achieved and compliance to contract performance standards is secured. All other activities in line with the responsibilities of the Streetworks Team Good working knowledge of the licensing process Good practical working knowledge of highway principals and legislation Excellent IT skills with use of IT systems for the management of Event, Licensing and other related applications Experience of event co-ordination Administration experience and management of Traffic Regulation Orders A full driving license is essential, although only a minimal level of travel required. 3 Streetworks Technician-NRSWA Technician-NRCSA Isle Isle of of Wight We are seeking a Street Works Technician to process and administer New Roads and Streetworks Act, Traffic Management Applications and other functions provided by the Streetworks Team on Process all applications for NRSWA Traffic Management and Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders Develop and Maintain Streetworks data base, include links to all associated data Co-ordinate activities on the Network between all Streetworks and Events promoters Process and administer Abnormal Load movements, Administer HGV operator centre licenses. Approve TM plans and associated signage in accordance with the requirements of the Traffic Signs Regulations and industry best practice. Process requests for delegated and non-delegated licensable activities. 4 Asset Technician Streetworks Isle of Technician-NRCSA Wight We are seeking an Asset Technician to provide support to the Asset Manager on the Responsible for the development and delivery of the asset inventory audit Develop and roll out and manage internal process for asset data collection and accurate record keeping. Responsible for the updating/amendment of the asset inventory to ensure that the Management Information System is accurate at all times Responsible for the development of the Annual Asset Management Inspection and Survey Calendar Responsible for Local Land Registry Searches Good practical working knowledge of highway asset management, including relevant Codes of Practice Proven ability to provide advice and guidance on asset management issues.
