4 Outreach Started the Master Plan effort with numerous meetings: Mayor and Town Council members Focus group with Royal Park Home Owners Association (21 attendees) Focus group with Dock Patrons (24 attendees) Public meeting and presentation at the Recreation Advisory Commission Patron Survey Town Staff

5 Vision The docks are dated and need upgrading. Parking is insufficient. These are the Town Docks. Keep the same feel. Prefer floating Don t docks over reduce fixed. the green space!

6 Need and Market Demand The docks were last rehabilitated in the 1990 s and are showing their age an upgrade is due Demand for mooring space is outstripping capacity in SE Florida The trend is towards larger vessels

7 Need and Market Demand Selection of an alternative can be based on the vision for the Town Docks and not necessarily limited by demand.
