8 The transversal functionalities Transportation costs management The transportation costs management module is divided into different functionalities: carriers, price listing management, choice of the best carrier, pre invoicing, integration of the postage fees, generation of a transport sale order Maintenance The maintenance management works as a transversal module in Silver-CS ; machine maintenance, moulds, different production ways result of the production follow up. Subcontracting Silver-CS inserts a complete subcontract management. A follow up of the subcontract outstanding stocks is available in real time. Project management Each project can be managed under three different overlapping levels. It can combine all the development fees to any project. It allows to follow a provisional budget for the deal and to be aware of the sales included in order to know the return on investment. The intra-group exchange management This module allows the automation of exchanges between production and distribution companies within the same group inside the same data base WORKFLOW This service is running on all modules of Silver-CS and allows automatic mailing on creation or modification of data. Tracking The tracking is one of the top priority in industrial world that's why Silver-CS includes it at every level, from the reception of purchased item to the shipping of the finished item to the customer.
