ISA is part of the Sales Cotrol (SLS) module i BaaERP Order Maagemet. The geeral item data, o which the sales related item data are based, is defied i the Item Base Data (IBD) module i BaaERP Commo Data. You ca maitai the followig sales related item data i ISA: Sales items Quatity requiremets Price iformatio Classify items with commo characteristics Busiess parter iformatio Sales related schedule data is created i the Sales Schedules Master Data busiess object. I Sales Schedules Master data you ca defie segmets ad patters which are the attributes that are used to desig sales schedules. Segmets i sales schedules are used to build a schedule horizo for the items, which is the amout of time the sales schedule exteds ito the future. A patter withi a sales schedule is used to idetify: Whe a supplier ca deliver goods Whe the schedule must be recalculated Whe a EDI message should be set. 1-1

The first, the sales item master data procedure, is used to maitai sales related item data. The sales item master data procedure is described i paragraph 2.1. The secod, the patters procedure ad the third procedure, the segmets procedure, are used to desig a sales schedule. The segmet sets procedure is described i paragraph 2.3 ad the patters procedure is described i paragraph

The geeral item data, o which the sales related item data is based, is maitaied i the Item Base Data (IBD) module i BaaERP Commo. You caot create a sales item uless you first create a correspodig geeral item i the Item Base Data (IBD) module. Uits, currecies, carriers, chaels, warehouses, price groups, price lists, statistics groups, ad tax codes are created i the System Tables (MCS) module i BaaERP Commo. Busiess parters, addresses, ad cotacts are created i the Commo Data (COM) module i BaaERP Commo. Commissio groups ad sales rebate groups are created i the Commissio Cotrol System (CMS) module i BaaERP Order Maagemet. Period tables are created i the Cetral Caledar Maagemet (CCP) module i BaaERP Commo. 1-3

12 The (ISA) module i BaaERP Sales item data are used throughout the followig modules i BaaERP Order Maagemet: Electroic Data Iterchage (EDI) EDI messages ca be used to import the requiremets from your sold-to busiess parters i the Sales Schedule busiess object. The sales schedule master data, for example the requiremet types are defied i ISA. Commissio Cotrol System (CMS) The Commissio Cotrol System (CMS) module supports the calculatio ad cotrol of commissios ad rebates that are paid to employees ad trade relatios. Sice commissios ad rebates are based o quatities sold, the Commissio Cotrol System (CMS) module is closely itegrated with the Sales Cotrol (SLS) module. ISA provides the basic data for, for example the sales orders ad sales schedules i the Sales Cotrol (SLS) module. Pricig (PCG) This is a module that allows you to defie prices ad discouts, for example for sales items defied i ISA, i a flexible way. A base price is retrieved from a predefied price book. By meas of a matrix structure, the differet elemets of the item file, busiess parter, ad sales or purchase order (lie) ca be combied at various levels, depedig o the matrix type (sales, purchase, sales discout, purchase discout). Sales Cotrol (SLS) You ca use the Sales Cotrol (SLS) module to maage sales cotracts, sales orders, sales quotatios, sales schedules ad margi cotrol for sales items that are defied i ISA. Sales orders idicate which items are delivered to a customer, accordig to certai terms ad coditios. Sales schedules are used to support log term cotracts for the sale of goods. Sales cotracts are used to register specific agreemets with customers or their projects about the delivery of certai goods. A sales quotatio is a statemet of price, the terms of sale, ad a descriptio of goods or services offered by a supplier to a prospective purchaser, it is a bid. Margi cotrol cotrols whether the sales order or quotatio price of a item differs too much from the specified target price. Sales ad Marketig Iformatio (SMI) Together with the Sales Cotrol (SLS) module ad the Purchase Cotrol (PUR) module, the Sales ad Marketig Iformatio (SMI) module is a importat tool used to support the marketig ad sales aspects of a product, for example a sales item that is defied i ISA. I the Sales ad Marketig Iformatio (SMI) module, you ca register ay type of iformatio o trade relatios (customers ad potetial customers), marketig projects, cotacts, ad marketig activities i a flexible way. Sales Statistics (SST) The Sales Statistics (SST) module provides you with facilities to view the sales history for, for example, sales items. 1-4

Defaults (tdisa0502m000) The Defaults sessio is used to maitai the sales item defaults data. The default sales data is used whe you add ew sales items i the Item Sales Data sessio. Sales related item default data is based o the geeral item default data that is defied i the Item Base Data (tcibd0502m000) sessio. Items are liked to a specific item type/item group combiatio i the Item Base Data (IBD) module. If you eter or modify default data for a item group/item type combiatio, this sessio is related to the Global Update of Item with Defaults (tdisa0202m000) sessio. By usig this sessio, you ca assig ew default values to sales items for a specified rage of item groups ad item types. 2-1

The item details are related to the Sales Cotrol (SLS) module. However, if you wat to geerate a sales schedule to a sales order i the Release to Order (tdsls3207m000) sessio, fillig i data i this sessio is madatory. 2-2

Sales schedules are used istead of stadard sales orders i cases where full visibility ad time phasig of material requiremet iformatio is required. Sales schedules provide a detailed way to specify the delivery dates ad times per item. Whe a sales schedule is received by EDI or maually etered, BaaERP iitially uses the dates of the plaed sales orders to map plaed orders ito immediate, released, firm, or forecast segmets of the sales schedule. 2-3

16 The sales item master data procedure Note A segmet set is the groupig ame for a horizo defiitio that ca be used i sales schedules. To set the sequece for the segmets i the schedule, segmets must be liked to a segmet set. The total legth of a sales schedule is determied by addig the legths of all idividual segmets. A segmet ca be specified by addig a: Segmet time uit A period i weeks, moths, ad so o. Segmet legth The umber of segmet time uits. Requiremet type (refers to the order status) There a four requiremet types: Immediate Requiremet A requiremet for orders that are scheduled util the curret date. Released Requiremet The requiremets that are hadled as actual orders ad for which o authorizatios are eeded. For these orders, fiacial, stock, ad balace-o-order accoutig is automatically performed. The orders are also recorded i order history. Firm Requiremet A requiremet for plaed fabricatios or raw materials, which you covert to released before deliveries are required ad trasmitted. For these orders, fiacial, stock, ad balace order accoutig is performed as i Sales Cotracts. The orders are also recorded i order history. Forecast requiremet A requiremet that you wat to idetify to your busiess parter; this is for plaig purposes oly. Fillig i a segmet set is madatory i the Schedule Header (tdsls3511m000) sessio. 2-4

17 The sales item master data procedure Note A patter i a sales schedule is a scheme i which you ca defie the moth, the week of the moth, the day of the week, ad the time of the day that you wat to carry out requiremets. Accordig to your activities, you ca relate the followig patter types to a schedule: Delivery Patter For example delivery always takes place o Moday ad Friday. (all moth fields, week fields, ad two day fields, amely the Moday ad the Friday field, are filled). By settig the patter, all kids of delivery patters ca be created by addig patter records. With a validity period, you ca overrule the default period. Material Release Forecast I case a separate material release is used for the forecast ad released segmet, a specific patter ca be specified accordig to which the forecast material release message is prepared. Sequece shippig schedule I case the sequece shippig schedule is used, a specific patter ca be prepared accordig to which the sequece shippig schedule message is prepared. You ca add a segmet set ad a patter code to a item/customer combiatio i the Item Customer Iformatio (tdisa0110s000) sessio. 2-5

A segmet set ca cosist of a ifiite umber of segmets. Segmets (tdisa0515m000) I the Segmets sessio, you ca create the (ew) segmets. A segmet is idetified by a segmet time uit, a segmet legth ad a requiremet type. Segmets by Segmet Set (tdisa0114m000) You ca assig sequece umbers to a segmet to defie the order of segmets i the segmet set. The schedule horizo is built accordig to the requiremet type of the segmets. If the segmet set is already used i sales schedules, you caot add or modify segmets i the segmet set. 2-6

I other words, you ca specify the patter code accordig to how the actio, which is related to the patter type, must be carried out. You ca select oe of the followig patter types: Material release forecast Material release released Material release ad forecast Shippig schedule Sequece shippig schedule Refer to paragraph 2.2. for a explaatio of the patter types. Patters by Patter Code of type delivery (tdisa0520m000) I this sessio you ca relate a delivery patter to the patter code. The patter type Delivery Patter is used to specify a patter accordig to which deliveries ca take place. You ca set up a seasoal patter schedule for the delivery of goods i which you defie a percetage for the expected delivery i each period Refer to paragraph 2.2. for a explaatio of the patter types. 2-7
