2 Moving to the new office; a new milestone for EDISON group The much awaited and much talked move to new office project has been under spotlight in the month of August 17. Setting a historic milestone for the EDISON group and making it the new EDISON headquarter entire Symphony mobile business has shifted from Niketan to Rangs Babylonia, one of the iconic corporate buildings in recent times with all modern and intelligent facilities. This has spread euphoria and excitement among EDISON employees. Co-branded Projects for Symphony and LiteTEL with Grameenphone and Banglalink. Aiming to bring affordable smartphones in the hands of the people, Symphony & LiteTEL have partnered with Grameenphone & Banglalink to launch two co-branded handsets Symphony G20 and LT4501. After years of planning & designing for good causes, maximum productivity and ensuring safe & healthy workstation for EDISON employees, EDISON group has taken things to the next level and started a brand new journey. It s a dream come true project which boasts with 50,882 square feet space situated in the corporate downtown along with exquisite interiors and state of the art furniture and amenities. On 26th August, 2017 EDISON group officially inaugurated the new office building through du a mahfil followed by refreshment. Hon ble chairman Aminur Rashid and hon ble managing director Jakaria Shahid briefed the employees on how good office is linked with good performance and how to achieve the maximum out of it. All Symphony mobile employees were present along with the top management team during du a mahfil and kicked off the day in the new office with festivity and high note. This is the first ever co-branded project for Symphony and LiteTEL with good toppings of bundle offer. These type of initiatives will allow customers to get their hands on affordable smartphones along with attractive packages and data bundles. Smartphone and internet usage will undoubtedly rise because of these kinds of offer and will benefit the common people get access to the information highway. Page 01
3 Launching of Helio S10 Launching of EDISON Prime On 11 July, 2017 EDISON Properties Limited (EPL) launched their first commercial project EDISON PRIME, a 9 (nine) storied building having an area of 7,300 sft per floor at Tejgaon I/A. The project is being developed on Katha land. With all kinds of state-of-the-art commercial facilities. The Project is expected to be completed by January, Edison Group officially launched the most anticipated selfie specialist smartphone, Helio S10, on 14th June, The Chairman of Edison Group, Mr. Aminur Rashid unveiled the Helio S10 in a launching ceremony in Lakeshore Hotel, Dhaka. Director of Marketing, Mr. Ashraful Haque, Director of Corporate Affairs, Major Abdul Maleque Miazee, psc, (retd.) and Deputy Director, Sales, Mohammad Irfanul Huq were also present in the launching ceremony. Prior to the launching, Edison Group ran a successful pre-booking campaign from 7th June to 12th June. Helio Doorstep Service For the first time ever in Bangladesh, Helio introduces free doorstep service for its customers! It has taken customer service to a totally new dimension and height. Since the inception of this service (June 3rd, 2017), lots of appreciation and positive feedback are being received from the customers. Helio Doorstep service has allowed people to stay at their home while getting their phone issue fixed. It has not only saved time but saved cost as well. The sevice can be availed anywhere and any point of Bangladesh from Saturday to Thursday between 9:30 am till 6:00 PM. Have you tried our door service yet? Inauguration of Chandpur CC and Bandarban CP Symphony started its 50th Customer Service Point, Chandpur CC on 1st June Symphony Service Head, Mr. S.M. Morshed-Uz-Zaman inaugurated Chandpur customer care on that particular day. Address of Chandpur customer care is: Dream Plaza, 217, Shahid Muktijoddha Shorok, Level-3, Kalibari, Chandpur. Symphony also started its 33rd Collection point, at the heart of hills and nature, Bandarban on 1st August. With this collection point at map, Symphony has spread its wings at all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Page 02
4 Launching of Symphony branded Home Appliances The successful launching of Symphony branded home appliances took place in the last quarter. It started in May, with the launching of Symphony split AC and in August the Symphony chest (deep) freezer was launched. Competitive pricing, robust performance and best quality are the core competencies of these appliances. Symphony deployed more than 400 SBCs By June, 2017 more than 400 Symphony Brand Consultant, commonly known as SBC, were deployed in different outlets all over the country. All SBCs are well trained to communicate and demonstrate unique features of the products so as to give better product experience to the potential customers. SBCs play a very vital role to persuade the visitors of the store and make them favorable decision. Nowadays SBCs are one of the key drivers to increase sales. Prize giving ceremony of Symphony Eid E Offer The number one smartphone brand of Bangladesh, Symphony Mobile, handed over foreign trips to the winners of Symphony Eid E Offer. Prizes were awarded to the winners through an indoor setting event at Symphony's head office. LiteTEL customer support from SYMPHONY SMILE LiteTEL customers can receive handset-related support from all touch points of Symphony Smile. Currently LiteTEL customers will get support from 50 customer care and 33 collection points covering all over the country. New design of EO Symphony has recently changed the interior of its Experience Outlet to provide customers and visitors better in-store experience. EO are the top category exclusive outlets that will uphold the brand image of Symphony. In these outlets, our main focus is to provide premium environment and quality experience to the end consumer, and drive the smartphones ranges priced over BDT The new EO design has brought premium brand experience at retail space. 5 Celebration of Employee of the Quarter-2, 2017 : EDISON group always believes in a performance driven culture and this belief is always reflected in the way EDISON group treats its employees. Employee of the quarter-2, 2017 program was celebrated on 3rd August, 2017 in Spectra Convention Center where the super performers were acknowledged and appreciated for their standout performance and hard work. Pickaboo Club The program was divided into two sessions. The first half there was a session named Triple O conducted by the Strategic HR director Ahmed Pasha was taken with the objective to efficiently manage the time in both personal and professional life and how to capitalize the spare time to pursue something great. Staying true to their motto Delivering Happiness Pickaboo has launched an exclusive Loyalty program, the Pickaboo Club for their beloved customers. For the First time in Bangladesh Pickaboo, being an ecommerce company has launched an exclusive Membership Program. This will facilitate the customers to avail exclusive benefits within Pickaboo s premium services & 100 plus different retail outlets, hotels & resorts, and various other special discounts from their partners.
